What's Your Favourite All Nighter Record Ever By A White Artist
Could well have been written for P.J. Proby Rich, wouldn't like to hazard a guess which came out first to be honest.

Carol Chandler On Steel Town
Don't know if it's the same record but I've got Carol Chandler "Time Hasn't Changed You" on Steel Town 0002, mint, if thats the one

Restoring "noisy" Vinyl
Been using one for about 8 years. It will get rid of really grained-in dirt, and you can see it attacking the dirt on the vinyl, but I wouldn't re4commend investing in one unless it's only £15 like the one I got from Aldi. I don't like the Maplins spray stuff, gives me headaches even in a ventilated room and it doesn't do a lot. I'm back to using handsoap and water.

Collection Of 145 Northern Soul Singles-Ends In 30 Minutes
No, I know - some great titles. Might have a little bid myself actually.

Collection Of 145 Northern Soul Singles-Ends In 30 Minutes
It is indeed an excellent condition Steve but you're shooting yourself in the foot by not stating that the majority are reissues and not grading them individually, the word 'repress' only appears a couple of times when it's obvious (to me) that nearly all of them are pressings etc...if they weren't, it'd be over £1000 by now. Just an observation...

You could be right actually!

I didn't know that had finally been accredited, how did they find that out Paul?

Missing Records - Is This Just Bad Luck
I've had a few problems sending stuff to France Shaun but not vice-versa. I once sent a record to Belgium that took 4 weeks to arrive. That's the longest European transaction I can remember so maybe give it 3-4 weeks. I sent a recorded delivery out recently to Kingswinford which is literally 3 miles from here. The royal mail lost it.

Worst Condition Record Ever?
Well they don't all start of plain white, some use old labels reversed so they look odd to start with. I suppose it's just general wear and tear but the really bad ones I've had all come from Jamaica and not the Uk so it must be to do with the weather conditions and the storage maybe? I mean some of them actually feel mouldy
-
Worst Condition Record Ever?
But believe it or not, that is actually a common condition for reggae blanks, I still have 20 or 30!

You're right, it's a 1975 release, perfect sound quality.

Nailed By The Uk Border Agency For Import Duty
I know, I just mean the ones who put that statement on their adverts, and there are hundreds now (I think ebay might actually suggest that they write that statement when listing as it's always worded very similarly)
-
Nailed By The Uk Border Agency For Import Duty
I don't know how many sales these US sellers have actually lost by people not buying their records because of this statement and similar, but I have bought 3 records from the States this year, this time last year I would have bought 50 or 60 minimum in the same period.

Northern Soul Monster Tempests Someday (On Stardust)
I sold 2 copies in December for £50 and £60 respectively, one mono, one stereo. One had a little scratch but was otherwise mint, the other was ex.

Northern Soul Monster Tempests Someday (On Stardust)
I've had one of those as well.

Northern Soul - Latin Style ! - Favourite 45 / Album / Recommendations
Also came out in the UK that one

A Question About Legal Reissues (70S)
Yeah but those are out and out bootlegs, the original poster wanted to know how the legal reissues came about. As for those two you mentioned, bit of scratching you'd find out where they came from

Has Colin Curtis Sold His Collection?
https://www.dailymail...ogram-axed.html appears to be not much to it
-
A Question About Legal Reissues (70S)
One brilliant story is Selectadisc asking Kama Sutra via Polydor to do them a repress of Billy Harner's What About The Music, when they arrived they'd accidentally put an instrumental version on so they sent it back...the rest is history...the instrumental version is now worth £1000
-
A Question About Legal Reissues (70S)
I always thought that people in the Uk approached the record companies. Did Neil Rushton do the deal with Columbia Special Products for instance?
-
Has Colin Curtis Sold His Collection?
But a 'true' Mecca set would be unaffordable nowadays as it would include the likes of Cheatin' Kind and so on...some of the scenes very rarest classic Northern sides were first played there

Paul Anka When We Get There
I understand what you're saying - I just think that this particular record is a strange one to have undergone such a reaction. Next up, Ronnie Davie, BJ Thomas (bother better than P.A.)?
