I'd be interested in what percentage of people listen to soul music as their first tunes of the day, I put radio 5 live on then talk sport, then my ipod on shuffle so most days I probably don't hear a soul tune. Can you only listen to soul music to take part in this forum or something?

Not being funny but I just can't see how anyone who professes to be into Northern Soul can dismiss this record. Granted it's not one of my real favourites but for sheer dancefloor magnetism there are very few better records.

The only music media allowed seems to be cd's though unfortunately

If you read that guys auction, he found it while junk shopping that day and posted it straight up, he must have checked popsike because he put a high reserve on it. You couldn't really ask for more in a northern dancer, come on, it's got everything.

Well I had fun Dave but at the end of the day, I spent all my income on UK records for 6 months which left us totally in the lurch, so I just decided to sell them and get back to buying and selling American records, I got a fantastic collection in this week actually. Still got loads of British left, actually there were quite a few in that collection like a Determination, danny White on Sue, a nice gren and white of You been cheating/ Can't satisfy etc.

I thought I posted that george Jsckson up - though it might be on one of my podcasts. I've certainly got a UK copy for sale.

Mick I scanned a few hundred of mine before I sold them but only the labels, not the sleeves. Dennis Dell issue, that sort of thing. You're welcome to them if you want them, I'll never do the project I was going to do with them now.

I think it's a great site however, one complaint, the Northern Soul/rare soul section, it needs a bit of tweaking when you get time because you've got northern soul/mainstream/funk/rock n roll/pop all in the same section. Otherwise, enjoying browsing the site.
