  9. Your cartridge should have been correctly fitted when you purchased the turntable and therefore replacing the stylus should not affect its set up. If you buy a new cartridge get the shop to fit it to save all the bother (if they don't offer this service, buy your equipment elsewhere)...but it will come with fitting instructions and a template...you will need very very good eyesight and pixie fingers and a magnet to pick up the tiny screws and nuts every time you drop them on your music room floor.

  11. I placed a sue ep between two bits of cardboard and then put it over night in my trouser press...I can now play the inner tracks on both sides...the first tracks on both sides are still unplayable :angry:

    Just say I met Steve at the Blackpool weekender and said hello as I wanted to know where he got his T-shirts from. He explained he and his partner were producing them to order. Top product IMO....crisp large record label of your own choice. Steve donated one to our charity raffle which Ady C won if my memory serves me right...do they come in XXL ???

  17. It's on the current Talcum Soul 4 CD..... I believe that both Irma's take and Ratcliffe's were recorded in 1964...I love the Irma Thomas version but I guess my passion will always lean towards Jimmy Ratcliffe's.
