I think that happened with the Master 4. Two snipers placing huge snipes not thinking they would end up paying a fraction of it. ouch!
  2. Not for me to say Ted but I wanted it at that price, and I've already got one. Bet he was inundated with buyers.
  3. Thats what I said this morning but it's gone mate.
  4. Kin ell Cliff. Volumes way too cheap mate.

Sorry Mark, but you are wrong. You only see the end price, you haven't a clue how much the winning bidder actually placed on his/her sniper. And in most cases it will be way over what you see as the £1 more than your bid.....I actually bid on an item [bidnapper] and lost the item. Yet when I checked the end price, my maximum bid was slightly higher. I was outraged at this and got in touch with Bidnapper to complain. But they explained that the bid increment was more than I had left to bid, therefore the other guy won...... Just out of interest, I contacted the winning bidder, and found out that he had bid a huge amount of money, above, the end price. So there you go, snipers are a very usefull tool, but give absolutely no guarantee of winning, I can assure you.

The same buyer bought at least 3 of these. Two of the best records I've ever heard[iMPERIAL C's & GERRI HALL] I wanted Imperial C's, and for some reason one of the worst I've ever heard.[PAPA bloody Bear] Some seriously wealthy people John gets on his auction. Jealous

I personally don't think it's on making comments about peoples sales. If you're not interested, then no one is forcing you to buy. If you have a problem with the post, just PM the seller. Last time I put some sales on here I got people making snide remarks, and in my opinion, spoiling my chances of selling anything. I'll think twice before using these pages for sales again.
  22. I was trying to do some business with Mr. Bert a while ago. He told me he was selling up his collection. But his comunication was very vague and the record that I wanted had been sold. I was very wary because he was so vague, and decided I wasn't interested in dealing with him. A wise move me thinks. Especially as I saw him advertising for big ticket items in the wants section not long after. And play lists he put on here, thought he was selling up??
