  6. I agree, I think it's ignorant to make comments about peoples prices. No one is forcing you to buy the record. We all want to buy cheap and sell for top dollar, it's human nature. Or maybe the seller has paid top dollar for the record himself. If you think the price is too high, just ignore it. If the 45 is over priced it won't sell.
  7. No, nothing there for me Ted. It must be my computer. But it did work previously.
  8. This link has had no prices showing for quite a while now Ted. Thus rendering it fcuking useless. I wonder what's happened to it, anyone know? I found it very useful when it was working.
  9. and the rest. Went for way over that on Manships auction a while back. The link to his auction hasn't had any prices on for a while, but I'm sure it was over £1300. I was trying to buy it myself so that's why I remember.
  10. JIMMY THOMAS - THE BEAUTIFUL NIGHT - COLUMBIA

I recognise it, but can't put a name to it yet. Must have been something that I had when I was collecting in the 1970's. Don't push your luck, I'll have to get my thinking cap on. I would say that the record isn't worth the debate anyway, and that anyone paying 4 figures for it is just mad. That's just my humble opinion of course. If it was a tenner I wouldn't buy it.

I bought a copy of Steve Mancha, thinking that it was the version on the cd. Bloody pissed off when it wasn't. The professionals is the superior version I.M.H.O. just for the long intro alone, very atmospheric played loud.

    I agree with that.
  14. If you can get hold of American paper sleeves they fit without trimming.

I'm sure Andy Dyson had a Brice Coefield in his sales box ?
  18. I've been trying to get in touch with him for ages. I won an item on his auction [venturas, heart of love on green light] Tried the checkout on the site. No joy, so sent an email, no joy. Phil.
  19. I sold one on here a few weeks ago for £350, it went within minutes of posting. Sold another last year for £500 true
  20. that's just got to be you Cliff. That's what I'm doing anyway, and I'll be spinning them at Burnley Cricket Club on saturday night. Can't wait to hear your new stuff Cliff. Tell you what, that was the funniest thing I've ever read on here. I'm still drying my eyes now. Private joke but bloody funny. p.s. you are supposed to sign your name. Phil.

Yes, but all that stuff on Impact wasn't rated then and could be had very easily. I had loads of them, and couldn't believe what they were worth when I came back on the scene. Like the Constellations, they were dead cheap then, and Thelma stuff. I had Martha Star - love is the only solution. No one wanted them then. Just box fillers. All that La Beat stuff on John Andersons makes you want to weep.
  22. PLAYED AT SOUL SALVATION @ BURNLEY CRICKET CLUB
  23. Sorry Chris, but your havin' a larf mate. Shifty always puts a couple on his list that are way below the norm. And just ask Tim Brown how much them big lads, he's been auctioning for Martin Coppell have been fetching. UNBELIEVABLE! and most of them heading back stateside too. People have been saying the same thing for 30 years, and still prices keep going up.
  24. O.K. so this whole post is a cock up. Sorry but I was after this record for a mate, who now informs me that the record that Ged has posted, isn't the one he's after. You can guess the rest. Heart full of pain, is the one he's after. Why do I get involved. . So, anybody got one? Soul Dynamics - Heart Full Of Pain - D&W And can anyone tell me who Deadwood is????
  25. I'm actually sick of hearing "Surprise" now, I think it's been over played. But Foolish Girl is fantastic, Andy has still got it, but for some reason he doesn't play Foolish Girl much. Tim Brown also has a copy.
