You aren't going to the right places mate. [see below]
  5. I'm sure Andy Dyson had a Brice Coefield in his sales box ?
  6. I've been trying to get in touch with him for ages. I won an item on his auction [venturas, heart of love on green light] Tried the checkout on the site. No joy, so sent an email, no joy. Phil.
  7. I sold one on here a few weeks ago for £350, it went within minutes of posting. Sold another last year for £500 true
  8. that's just got to be you Cliff. That's what I'm doing anyway, and I'll be spinning them at Burnley Cricket Club on saturday night. Can't wait to hear your new stuff Cliff. Tell you what, that was the funniest thing I've ever read on here. I'm still drying my eyes now. Private joke but bloody funny. p.s. you are supposed to sign your name. Phil.

Yes, but all that stuff on Impact wasn't rated then and could be had very easily. I had loads of them, and couldn't believe what they were worth when I came back on the scene. Like the Constellations, they were dead cheap then, and Thelma stuff. I had Martha Star - love is the only solution. No one wanted them then. Just box fillers. All that La Beat stuff on John Andersons makes you want to weep.

PLAYED AT SOUL SALVATION @ BURNLEY CRICKET CLUB
  11. Sorry Chris, but your havin' a larf mate. Shifty always puts a couple on his list that are way below the norm. And just ask Tim Brown how much them big lads, he's been auctioning for Martin Coppell have been fetching. UNBELIEVABLE! and most of them heading back stateside too. People have been saying the same thing for 30 years, and still prices keep going up.

O.K. so this whole post is a cock up. Sorry but I was after this record for a mate, who now informs me that the record that Ged has posted, isn't the one he's after. You can guess the rest. Heart full of pain, is the one he's after. Why do I get involved. . So, anybody got one? Soul Dynamics - Heart Full Of Pain - D&W And can anyone tell me who Deadwood is????

I'm actually sick of hearing "Surprise" now, I think it's been over played. But Foolish Girl is fantastic, Andy has still got it, but for some reason he doesn't play Foolish Girl much. Tim Brown also has a copy.

How do you come to have an mp3 of Foolish Girl then Trevski?

Why is it Mr. Sloft, That your posts are wider than anybody else's, and disappear off the screen. [maybe you should join them ] And, will not allow any bugger to reply to them. And do you write your own gags, I hope you don't pay for them. Tutt, what am I saying, you, pay for summat . Nah, the truth is mate, I've been trying to upload record labels for my avitar, but this is the only bloody picture that'll work. I'm going to have to ask for some help.

My mate Ged Parker has a new avitar, SOUL DYNAMICS - MY LOVE IS GONE - D&W. Anybody got one. Cash / trades waiting. Thank You, Phil.
  19. Jeff, I wish I'd known about this earlier. I've just paid far more for a copy of this. This is a bargain, and for anyone that doesn't know it, go to john manships rarest of the rare and have a listen. Top tune that's gettin' attention. Phil.

My sister gave me the, This is Soul LP, when I bought a knackered dansette and fixed it up. She had moved on to prog rock, and the bloody hippy movement. She never recovered I'm ashamed to say. She still has no taste in music. Anyway I was hooked, the first LP I actually bought was the Temptations greatest hits 2. I can still remember every word, and I did, literally wear it out. [they were a bit weighty in the tone arm them dansette's] Phil.
  21. Sorry Stuart, I didn't make myself clear. I'm on about my Techmics 1210s that I use out. Not at home. I'm not interested in scratching either, just playing 45s and dancing to 'em. But with the cost of rare vinyl, I'd like to think I was looking after other peoples records, as well as my own.
  22. What a shame, I thought this was going to be a really useful and informative post. I am using Stanton 500s myself, as I was lead to believe they were ideal for playing 60s styrene & vinyl. It just seems to me, that what one person recomends as THE one to use,the next person says, is completely wrong. Very confusing, and I'm no wiser than I was before. I think there must be a misunderstanding between "best sound reproduction" and "least damage done to precious styrene/vinyl" Maybe the cart that gives fantastic sound quality, will also wear your 45s out quicker. The wear factor has to be the most important for us. I'm sure I saw some for sale that were reputed to cause zero cue burn. But if memory serves, they around £100 apiece. I'll try and find them again, and report back. I just thought, surely a gap in the market for one of the manufactures. The perfect cart for 60s & 70s styrene/vinyl [great repoduction and zero wear] could call it the utopia, or the flying pig, or does it already exist??
  23. Hi Chris, I think I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Have been told by a good mate, that the pub on the friday night [lifeline] was fantastic for sales. Where as I was in the record room on saturday. BUGGER Have sold a few on here, but if anybody else wants the list, just email me. Philsoul45@aol.com

Hi Stitch, I thought that £700 was priced to sell for a minty copy. I have been offered £600 cash. Best Phil.

Is that you Mr. Brown? nice to see you on here, even if you are being very cheeky. I know you struggle to get out on Saturday nights, but I've got Dickie Watt on next month again. Not to be missed mate. I've been spending huge sums of dosh [that's why I'm selling] and Cliffs been very busy vinyl wise. Gonna be fantastic.
