Yes I got caught with that one - Me & Nev were nearly bidding against each other with a particular seller. Then I found the Italian copy on Joker records (I think thats the label) has the track Dennis is after. Brilliant track and if was on 45 would be in the high hundreds to buy for sure!

The guy sent me this message when he questioned what my name was on ebay They were indeed played out at events I`ve Dj`d at and like I said in my listing many a packed dance floor, And to me a packed dancefloor speaks volumes and if it doesnt matter to the people on the dancefloor if the record cost £10 or £10,000 why should it matter to me ? It`s the music that matters to them! So in my opinion the Playing "only original vinyl" at gigs is just something very very very sad anoraks complain about. The scene was built on the love & passion of the music, Not on weather a record was original or a pressing ! The only people who say the scene was built on rare records are the Anoraks of this world. very very sad people I`m afraid. Also this collection was sold as a whole and nothing was taken out. What I did keep was a collection that was given to me many years ago by a friend who has now passed away & they were never part of the collection that were on here and nothing has been added to it. These are not something I have ever played at events despite them being Originals this collection is something I would never part with.

One of my all time favs as its so messy its brilliant! I got caught with one of those boots a few years back as they were pretty good! Still got it somewhere and that was what made me take a very cynical view about any record when someone says it rare /ultra rare /only ? known copies etc. Unless their is provenance I wont pay more that 300 quid for a record. Full Stop!

Picked up a copy of Let the good times roll. Bunny Sigler Nothing spectacular about that! However its the typical grey white demo label but has nothing on it that indicates its a demo at all. Anyone else come across copies like this?

First time I gave up NS I took my large box for sale - I used to collect The compass label. so I had both Issues & demos of the the major records on the label The twins got into an argument of who would have the issue of the Adventurers. I thought they were flatten each other!

When I was in New york a few years ago they were selling packs of mint sleeves off purely as just covers for records with no intrinsic rarity value at all!

really good read - Cheers Mike I only went to Leigh casino a few times when I lived in Glazebury for a year or so. Seems Paul gave up the Casino around the same time I did.
