I know that some 45 acetates go for alot more than Issues /demos/test presses. But what about original Acetate Lps I have a The Dynamics Lp "First landing" on an original Columbia studios acetate (No Cover) The Lp was released on Cotillion and can be a bit hard to find so what would an original acetate of this be worth? P.S. If anyone has a cover for sale pm me.

Yes George re- F Hymes I wished I had kept an old email account that I had used to contact them about the Frederick hymes I was buying a differnet record from them when it hadnt arrived and he asked was I intereested in A FH (I already had an original - bought from Soul Sam who had originally paid £800 to Jm for the copy well before the boots came) When I asked him to explain about what it was like! "I asked if you could see through it and stated that if you could it was an original" I was obviously setting him up! He then got a bit nasty with me when I exposed the lie and told me to "Wise UP" This is business and then went on to rant that he had been supplying certain dealers over here! Thats why I have taken more than a passing interest in this 45. However I dont have the original email which makes it hard for me to prove all I am saying!

Im sorry but there are dubious people on here. Example: Person pms me and asks if a record I had last year on here was available I said yes He offers me an amount for it and goes on about its not that rare and not really in demand on the scene!(But knows full well that its popular in his area and in demand- but not up our way) he then sells it a few weeks later for 4 times the amount because of its popularity. Is that called insider dealing! or he was just being untruthful about the circumstance of popualrity! therefore affecting the price?

To me this record is a good record and would be around the £60 -£70 mint but its top of VG grade and bottom of VG+ grade and plays EX so I think £35 -£40 is the grade price What do other people think? Or am I just a numpty?
