That's a boot John. The boots have the raised ridge like the Dave Newmans. Original is styrene with raised letter "S" in dead wax. pottsy -

Thing I remember about the Cali was those bloody mirrors, they were everywhere. Looked like a massive shed on the outside, but inside it was real flash for it's time. Had some good times there. Nearly totalled my morris 1000 pick up on a frozen winters night on that hill. I drove past there some years back & it was gone, built on the plot. Shame

Did I ever have hair Baz? erm..once upon a time mate. cheeky git, that picture was taken this Christmas just gone at the Brickies in Hitchin. The little fella's me grandson, when ever he comes round to stay he's straight on the technics. Dont know why, but he's fascinated by records & decks, he's got his own record player we found at the bootsale.
