Just seen this in wants section, and I'm compelled to write this, STATE !! it even... its an ok version of an utterly fabulous song, but its not even a patch on Jesse James, it doesn't come near... Jesse is Super Sonic!!! Pope is smiling, but he's standing in a puddle... The Grier Bros - Weeping Baby all The Time M- £180 ** SOLD ** Absolute spanker of a copy, very collectable 45, you will not see a cleaner example. Ernie Johnson & the Soul Blenders - You Gotta be Faithful and True / You Gonna Miss Me / Duplex VG+ £35 bit of wear on the label, and some rub on the vinyl, plays with a bit of crackle... that said, two awesome sides, one mid-tempo, one very nice deep soul side. Not as Beautiful as you is a Detroit Mid tempo of old, with a wicked back beat. 'Gotta Find a Way' is dare I say the 'Funkier' side in recent times. The Electras — Another Man’s Woman / De-Lite Records (White Demo) Ex £20 Great seventies tracks here, pick either side they are both brilliant. Rare on a Vinyl Demo as well. Jimmy Richards — (I Won’t Be) Responsible / A&M WD VG+ £10 ** SOLD ** As far as I know Jimmy did three tracks on A&M, all very worthy, along with ‘My New Found Joy’ this is about the best. He’s got a mighty BIG Voice has Jimmy Richards! Eddie Ray — Wait a Minute / Numero Ex (WOL) see scan. £15 Brilliant frantic unreleased dancer, there was a slower released version of this track, both brilliant. Somebody has coloured in the cat number on the vocal side, I guess you cant see which is which in the dark. R.B. Hudmon — This Could Be The Night / Atlantic VG++ £15 Class Seventies track, which didn’t appear on the Cotillion LP.. Lorraine Johnson — Can I Hold You to It / Atlantic £10 ** SOLD ** Classic 7ts track this, and Nice Red / White vinyl demo. VG++ Condition. The Fiestas — Sometimes Storm / Respect records VG++ £10 Really Nice 7ts Group 45, This is the nice vinyl release of this 45, as apposed to the common yellow label styrene ones. The Sons of Moses — Soul Symphony/ Sagittarius VG++ £15 Classic seventies Northern Soul Bootleg… Loverman — Touch You Again/ Hilly City Ex £6.50 Recent release and a 7"³ remix of the Modern soul classic by Ronnie Stokes which came out on Philly City as a 12"³ inch. West Coast Revival — It’s Gonna Be Hard / United Artists (Yellow Demo) Ex £5 Nice seventies group track. The Whispers — I’m The One / Soul Clock Ex £5 Dunn and Bruce Street — The Moment of Truth / Devaki VG++ Demo Copy £5 General Johnson — Ready, Willing and Able / Arista £4 Leroy Hutson — Right or Wrong / RSO VG++ £4 Little Milton — Bet You Win / Stax VG++ £4 Syl Johnson — Kiss by Kiss / One Way Ticket To Nowhere / Twinight VG++ £5 Syl Johnson never made a bad record, this is a common one but its very good, flipped with his version of Tyrone Davis’s ‘One Way Ticket (To Nowhere)’. Major Lance — Gypsy Woman / Curtom VG+ £5 Couple of marks on the run in, but otherwise nice clean 45. the Major’s version of the Impressions Classic. Ronnie McNeir — Wendy is Gone / Prodigal VG+ £4 Ignore the title, this is a fabulous song from Ronnie McNeir. The Impressions — You Want Somebody Else / Curtom Ex (Demo) £5 Double sider from the Impressions, really nice mid tempo sides in ‘You Want Somebody Else’, and ‘My Deceiving Heart’. The Larks — The Jerk / Money VG++ £5 Classic sixties track from a very talented group.
