Looking forward to another top alldayer, a great venue, with wonderful dj's and some top people. Also for a great cause.

Many thanks to Steve, Colin and Tom for promoting this a great weekender and playing some great tunes. Also to the Aberdeen Northern Soul Club who made us all so welcome. The Beachballroom is such a wonderful venue to hear the music we all love, it is truly wonderful. The architecture alone of the building is amazing and the sound system was top draw. It was great to hear so many great tunes from a variety of Dj's (me not included!) and to see so many great dancers. On top of this Tom took us for a guided tour of Aberdeen, thanks so much! Hopefully there will be more events in the future, but to all who were involved, go to the top of the class!

I'm really looking forward to this night. I have so much respect for Steve and Charmain, they have been promoting events for so many years and deserve the success they have had. All over Bournemouth and the surrounding areas, they are true soulies and I can't wait! A new soul event awaits. With Steve, Derek and Phil, some great tunes will be played👍

Really looking forward to another top night at the Lawns. Always a real joy, in a top venue with a great sound system. Trev, Drew and the team know how to make a night special including a top guest in Pete Fowler. The bar staff are always great and the dance floor ticks all the boxes. Should be another 'Night to Remember'!

I would just like to thank the Soul on Wax team for putting on another wonderful event. I know I was one of the Dj's privileged to play at the event but feel that a viewpoint from all angles is good when looking at reviews. The overall value of the weekender I feel is great as all the boxes are ticked, also there is a swimming pool etc that I did not manage to visit but heard was superb in this hot weather! I feel the cross section of rooms enabled everyone to listen to the music we all love and the choice of Dj's (not me obviously!) had been well thought out and complimented all the rooms. I heard records that I can only dream of owning and also many I didn't know, especially in the rare / underplayed room. To add to this Bruno Jerez added another quality from the European Soul Scene, a great choice by the promoters. Many people will be aware of his great tunes, however this was the first time I had heard some of his great tunes, one by Houston Miles, I thought I would love to own, only to find that it would be impossible to find! The event is a great meeting place for us all in the South West and it gives us a chance to hear Dj's we do not always see in this part of the world. Also it is great to see so many great dancers. I met so many good friends, which means so much the older I get and it was good to see so many happy smiling faces. I am so lucky to be part of this scene, for so many years. With all this I managed to get some tunes off the record dealers present and with the others sellers there, gave people the chance to buy. Another one for the memory bank and I will look forward to next year's event that has some great Dj's planned from this wonderful scene we all love.

Really looking forward to Friday, will be great to meet up with old friends and new. A great way to start the weekend!

Really enjoyed my first visit to this venue. Great dancefloor and top music from all the djs. Music for everyone, a great cross section. I heard tunes I had never heard before alongside some great classics. Everyone was friendly and I would strongly recommend. Well done to all involved 👍

Many thanks to Trevor, Drew and the team for getting the show on the road. I really love this event, the venue is perfect for a soul night and now with the built in sound system the records sound better than ever. I enjoyed the night from start to finish and the music from Trevor, Drew and Chris, a great cross section of tunes. The floor was in really good shape for dancing and it is great being a sunken dancefloor, being away from the bar area. If you haven't been to this venue before, I would recommend it with a reasonable priced bar with good food available. Keep up the great work and thanks again from Sarah & Matt xx.

A superb dayer, well run by Phil and his team. Great Dj lineup, they all delivered great tunes throughout. Records that I would love to own! Too many to name including Richard Caiton, Walter and the Admerations, Alice Clark, Charles Mintz, True Image etc etc ...The sound systems were great in both rooms, it was well worth the journey. Loved meeting up with old friends and new, keep up the great work at the new venue in 2025- all the best and Merry Xmas!.

Great Music in a great venue, well run as always. A great selection of soul tunes from Northern to R&B, from Latin to Modern. Well done to all the dj's and the promoters for getting the show on the road. Also for the dancers to make it another 'night to remember! So many great tunes.....
