  1. hi marc,if i remember at the time we thought there was maybe 3 test pressings in existance, but i always thought that was as far as the process went,no demo's or issue's? ive certainly never seen either!
  2. ringleaders aint bad for the money, but the other 2 are way out!
  3. Not seen this title crop up in a while! Only exists as a vtone test press,I had it from jm's,and I traded it to Marc Forrest of Germany, maybe he still has it,send him a pm on here? i believe only 3 copies exist, the other 2 reside with doowop collectors for the b-side! shame it was never issued!
  4. Don't you mean 21ST GENERATIONS?
  5. Not as daft has cliff nobles hitting the 500 quid mark!
  6. sounds like someone has had the sam williams/towanda barnes tune out..haha
  7. i was chewing over that one earlier today! how can you tell its a 2nd?
  8. Jeanie & gentlemen is the same record as the condors on sheldon, just a different group name! The bside " meet me halfway " is a cracking mid tempo tune!
  9. Well the black to white worked, cos I thought they were/are white! cracking northern tune!
  10. Don't take it out on this world has always been a fave northern tune for me,however I've never come across any info on the group or even pics? is there any info/pics out there? with the recent interest back on the tune and originals hitting 1k..wow! Can we put faces to the record? also I have a USA issue, what's the ratio to demo's and issues? Lee
  11. I think it's a rare buggy too...and probably pricey!

Actually I was having a bid on that record and forgot,at first I thought it was a boot of sorts, but it actually has a STAMPED matrix. not a bad price for an orig I reckon! Recent copies have been hitting 700 quid and more!
  13. i agree with jim, class record, very rare too! if i remember correctly jim was one of the very first to get onto this tune before it became a known record, and yes i bet you do wish you still had it! would sit well with all that weird xover stuff your into..haha
  14. shame! bloody good tunes, wont be easy letting go mate.
  15. very nice bunch indeed...here here with the kool kat issue!
  16. isnt this the rarer white demo mentioned?
  17. the copy on pat bradys auction is lupine too are you sure its rare..were on 5 without trying..haha
  18. id say the yellow one is rarest, but even so,600 quid for any of em! the stemmons express was the biggest shocker,id have said 450 maybe 500 quid tops for that!
  19. i actually prefer the blue sharks version to the original, however in terms of value,if it was an unreleased jobete tune, then it would be worth the money and maybe more, but in the end its just a reasonable cover version and certainly not rare! but defo a worth 250 quid as a good dancer!
  20. as a point of interest, the styrene on the smith bros is low fi,you gotta turn that bugga up,and pull the bass down.....sorry dont mean to ruin the chase for you.
