I've seen a couple of uk orange issues go through the bay, interestingly,I had a stone mint uk demo, yet it had the faintest split second skip half way through, that you wouldn't notice unless you were really listening, and then I listened to another demo copy, and it did the same! I reckon the uk demos are flawed!
  2. It's on youtube now,it's not a bad sound! Sounds like it could have come off the tempests lp,the backing band sound like the tempests, but the the singing doesn't,good tune though!
  3. Cheers mate, there is a plum copy in a collection,I suspected it was a reissue, because the title is slightly missing through the middle cut out hole.
  4. The charts b side is a great tune'fell in love with you baby' 2 greats sides for less money than most bootleg records!

The uk orange is defo the toughest, but I have a soft spot for USA issues, don't know why,I'm just flippin Duckegg!

Always loved this tune,I never tire of it! Ive had a uk demo in the past, but I would love a USA green issue, good luck with your chase.
  7. Hi guys,I thought for fun we could track list our top 5 tunes of 2013,now I'm talking of the sounds you play over and over in the car,the house, your iPod...or whatever! And don't be ashamed of putting a guilty pleasure like a b side casino classic...haha Oh and no youtube links, the place is turning into a youtube advert, and I'm the world's worse ! Just track list with words....have fun! 1. Smith bros-there can be a better way 2. David ruffin-my whole world ended 3. Drifters-you got to pay your dues 4. Monitors-fence around your heart 5. Gentlemen four-you can't keep a good man down Atb Lee
  8. When played out loud, crazy is a blinding tune, worth we'll more than £100 quid, and its a double header aswell, also I believe it's hard to tell the difference between the ORIG and boot! So beware!
  9. Kittens track is a decent tune, but it's floated in and out a good few times over the years, fairly rare record though!
  10. Has this purple/plum issue ever been booted or reissued? Sorry if I've killed a bargain for some bidders on eBay!
  11. I like the record,and I fancy a copy,but 4k is a stretch,my thoughts would have been in the realms of £1200
  12. I'm amazed at the top quality records you have sold in mint condition george, you have done so well to acquire these pieces over the years! Might I add that that our transactions have been nothing but perfect, and that anyone buying from you can have full confidence as far as I'm concerned! Lee Happy New year
  13. Any info when that was and to whom?
  14. Just checked,it's still there, however it's at £1500,see if he could match George's decent price?
  15. There is one for sale at rarenorthernsoul.com,it's a bit more expensive though!
  16. I love your brutal honesty pete,it cracks me up...and yes happy New year brother!
  17. That would be cool pete,ta mate
  18. Any chance someone could get it on youtube at some point?
  19. Christ your right mace! The youtube clips I've heard of the 2 different versions are the same, but clearly the 2 you have posted are worlds apart, the e williams is in a league of its own! Bloody glad you cleared that up,I might of ended up buying a jimmie williams and being pissed off! Cheers mate!
  20. Thanks mate, one hell of a read, think I will save that for bed with a brew!
  21. I may still have my membership book from there too,and one of the djs sold me a John bowie and squires for £50 for the pair!
  22. Great soul nites there, weren't they on a Thursday nite? Who were the other regular djs, that place was my first introduction to tunes that have remained my faves!
  23. I suppose the vocal is similar on both discs, but not a direct repress,I reckon he has sung the song to the same backing track sometime later, and 're released it?
  24. I think I recall hearing it played at the Hyde botanical club,so I reckon it must have been Roger playing it?
