  3. Christ your right mace! The youtube clips I've heard of the 2 different versions are the same, but clearly the 2 you have posted are worlds apart, the e williams is in a league of its own! Bloody glad you cleared that up,I might of ended up buying a jimmie williams and being pissed off! Cheers mate!
  4. Thanks mate, one hell of a read, think I will save that for bed with a brew!

  6. Great soul nites there, weren't they on a Thursday nite? Who were the other regular djs, that place was my first introduction to tunes that have remained my faves!
  7. I suppose the vocal is similar on both discs, but not a direct repress,I reckon he has sung the song to the same backing track sometime later, and 're released it?
  8. I think I recall hearing it played at the Hyde botanical club,so I reckon it must have been Roger playing it?
  9. Hi gang I'm interested in chasing after a copy of E WILLIAMS-TRADE MY SOUL TO THE DEVIL,my question is,is the jimmie williams version the same guy,the backing music sounds the same, but the vocal sounds different to me! And I'm guessing the e williams is somewhat rarer,so what's the approx value and how many copys knocking about? And who has one so I can get to work on grinding them down..haha Ta Lee

I didn't know the monitors was on a uk Buddha,I have it on a USA Buddha,it's a mega record,I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially at 30 quid!
  13. I know the toni ross isn't for everyone, but compared to some high prices achieved lately on other 45's,I reckon 1k for the record is a good buy,it's rare,it's a dancer, the quality is there!
  14. I know,it just beggars belief!
  15. Yes and the springers has been on his auction, went for around 2k I recall
  16. The scene always has and always will have/need its vinyl grails(heroes),and the ray agee is defo in the top 10! It takes a long time for a record to reach such stature, and this one is well suited, and aint goin knowwhere!
  17. Haha...yeah it ain't a bad tune,same label as george smith-I've had it,similar kinda production!
  18. Totally agree, the fact it doesn't cost a million quid is the reason it ain't played out, which is a real shame! It's a blinder!
  19. Just when I thought there wasn't many bargains left on the bay,I got this for £6,not quite a fiver mind you! Gay jamison-stay another day-turntable
  20. Is this an unissued track,or a newly written and recorded song?
  21. I reckon it was "lazy" that sold for more, totally different record to "lady" your price is about right for this anyway, good luck with the sale,a great double sider!

Yes,some months back he sold a bunch on averages from breakthrough/mutt&Jeff,but it would appear the buyer didn't see the deal through on the inspirations acetate.
