i also notice the arranger is charles calello,his name crops up alot on this type of production,if i remember he also arranges on the rays-love another girl-amy...another big vocal and production number

soon as i heard it about 6 months ago i wanted it,and i hounded dave day and night until he parted with it,poor chap probably only sold it to shut me up...haha wow! a couple of copies...that is rare,mind you it doesnt do a record any favours when there isnt many of them i think!

hi gang,i recently got this (via mr flynn),ive only known of the record a few months,anyway the info on google leads me to believe it IS the same group as "job opening",however im not convinced,i dont think it sounds like them? also who discovered it and where first played...etc... ive chucked it on youtube,here it is.

its a great record and a rare record in any nick,end of the day if you want it and you've got the cash,i suppose your gonna get it,im daft enough to pay that much for it,in fact ive paid more for worse records..haha

the font is terrible,it may as well be bloody latin...haha,to be honest,if i see a sales with a unreadable font,i just dont bother with at all,me personally when i do a sales list,just keep it standard and simple!

flynnys right,i use the iphone and ipad,the font is unreadable,i have to pm the poor bugger to change is font so i can read it,but then the seller probably thinks he has a sale on the horizon!

is it the same group on peaches as on paree "heaven in your arms"they sound similar vocally?

some great plastic there dave,and i bet at decent prices as usual!

i also thought the backing track is exactly the same for both versions,i would have thought that the musicians would struggle to get the same sound twice at different sessions,so i think its different vocals to the same track!

haha,raritie and value can sometimes play games with ones hearing,im defo guilty of that,but not all of the time,but truth be known the 70's issue is the one for me!

how many copys of the original are known,and are they here in the uk?

i also prefer the remake,but now ive listened to the other version,that is growing on me,i wonder if i will start to prefer the original version just because its rarer and more exspensive,because if im honest i have been guilty of liking a record just because its expensive...how shallow and stupid is that!

hi gang,just been listening to the inspirations-no one else can take your place- on youtube,i was listening to the version that is on the breakthrough bootleg,but then i listened to another version on breakthrough,the backing music was the same,but the vocal was different,i always thought that the ultra rare copy was the same record as the boot,but obviously original! so why is there 2 versions with the same backing and group name on the same label?
