  2. Supposedly rarer with the "A Mike Terry Arr" on but to be honest most I seen have! still nice not to be water damaged! steve
  3. Volumes seems to be on three different demos! that black one looks good, here's another demo white with black print, think there's a red print one too. Also the Windy C demo, I picked up a good few years ago, a demo of "Dont Waste Your Time" used to think it looked iffy, but it's stamped so guess it right, steve
  4. well not in one day, but last year when I think the us mail snarled up a bit I was waiting on a few packages, went on a course with work for a few days as I was leaving to travel postie lands with 8 packages!! no time to open so I thort "I'll look forward to openin these when i get back" well when I got back there was another 4!!!! Our lass had gone to visit her son for a couple ov days. So I opened a bottle ov wine, locked mesell in the record room and dribbled over me 12 packages wonderin which one to open first! It took me right back to them days when as a boy I'd get a 100 soulpack and go an lock mesell in me bedroom for the night with me Dansette!! steve

  12. Shouldnt ruin ya trading it mate. For me it's one of the best, personally I think her voice on it is outstanding! and for me it's by far the better version, fantastic Don Costa production and the bonus of a great Beat Ballad on the flip, If I didnt already have it, I'd be knocking on ya door for sure! Good luck with off-loadin it, am sure ya won't have a prob! steve
  13. Id have thort the same plate's would be used for the demo's an issues? never noticed it mesel, will give it a spin... as another note, I really like the Beat ballad flip "The Show Is Over" too! steve
  14. Checked US issue, an "I Want To Give You My Everything" is the lower matrix number if that's any guide. Also sure the US demo's are same sided with "IWTGYME" For me the best side, steve
  15. Here's a scam of US copy... Am I right in thinking Gene Faith was in the Volcanos? Always liked this tune steve
  16. Steve Edgar replied to Willow's topic in Record Wants
2 stamps in runout "Frankford Wayne" and "AudioMatrix" on "All Of My Life" side. Would have thort £75 for an orig. these days steve
  17. Hi Roger, haven't we talked about that UK issue before? I'm sure it was a 70's issue, can remeber buying it when it got released, gave it away when I managed to pick up a Checker copy, never understood this going for anything more then a tenner, always thort it was a real cheapie! (damm fine tune tho!) I really like the flip too... "Umm Umm" steve
  18. sorry dave was just posting something like this!, at same time as you!, not as well put as ya goodself mind dave! steve
  19. Alan, just a thort... this came out Nov 64 and "I'm stll loving you" came out Jan 65, they both had her excellent version of "Go Ahead and laugh" on tother side, maybe Motwn pulled the plug on it to push "Im Still Loving You" ???? must admit it hard to get in any kind of good condition, been looking for years! steve
  20. Great track this Worth mentioning the excellent flip too! "Girls In The City" Tony Hester penned, Mike Terry arrangement...say no more! steve
  21. That's a good point Rich, there are records that sound great played out n loud and dont sound anything played at home! How many times do ya hear something in a venue and think I must get one of those, only to get a copy stick it on the deck at home and think Hmmmm! Other version I was thinking of was Young Turks on Odyssey, dunno why I thort Neon?? steve
  22. not the same tune as O'Jays (O'jays a far better record to me!) Just watched a Brothers Grimm finnish on Ebay at $22 and thort that's a fair price... tis pants to me, also a version by Neon something too which is as poppy imho steve
  23. stuck Betty's "Sad Feeling" up in "Deep n Sweet" steve
  24. Kazia's "I Say Please" on Millage...was making a file of it for "Deep n Sweet" thread, and was wonderin bout the stamp I got on the label, it says "Compliments of William Sirlin Mortuary" Often wondered how the hell it ended up with a stamp like that on it? on Ebay at the mo there's a copy of Kazia and guess wot, it got a similer stamp albeit a sticker in this case. So did old Billy Sirlin have a box load of these that he handed out to customers? and if he did...who dug up these copies? here's a scan of mine, and one off Ebay.... ...so wot's the strangest thing ya seen on a label? steve
