Quick Half Dozen, Roger Pace, Don Wyatt, Billy Prophet, Eddie & Ernie
Few Monday sales I can add sound-files and scan a bit later once I've got scanner and computer set back up. 1. The Faithful Wonder – Ol’ John (Behold Thy Mother) – Checker Vg+ £60 (Clean labels, nice shiny vinyl, odd marks that DNAP. Old Stafford spin, had a bit of reactivation from myself at Lifeline.) 2. Eddie & Ernie – I Can’t Do It – Eastern Ex £40 (Lovely copy, hardly a mark on this classic oldie. Great deep flip.) 3. Don Wyatt - I’ve Only Got Myself To Blame – Garpax WDJ £25 (Under-rated mover.) 4. Jimmy Love – Two Sides To Every Story – Josie Vg+ £40 Great dancer, probably near EX+, hardly a mark on it. 5. Huriah Boynton – You Went Back On What You Said – Lanor 547 £100 (Under-rated dancer.) 6. Billy prophet – Puppet On A String – Merrimac Ex £40 (Just fantastic IMO.) (Mark on the label otherwise very nice clean copy.) 7. Roger Pace – The Minute My Back Was Turned – Select WDJ Ex £150 (Great hard to find dancer, time for reactivation, slight sticker residue on the label). £25 And Under Dj Sets
Whilst I agree about "New Girl", The Spring Song release doesn't fall into this category.

Rarest 45 On Coloured Vinyl?
Just four of each done I think, half a dozen titles, or is it half a dozen of each and four titles?

Rarest 45 On Coloured Vinyl?
Genuine 60's release Robb as far as I am aware. The picture sleeve is usually with the black vinyl release. As mentioned there is another release on the label with red vinyl so the label does have form.

Jimmy Wensiora
Shame Jimmy didn't push himself a bit more, he always seemed to be a reluctant DJ.

The Icemen on Olé 9, blue vinyl must be pretty tough.

Charles Sheffield Rare Copy Or?
Doesn't necessarily mean pressed by Sheldon. They also just did the mastering. If pressed by them it usually has a sheldon number in the run out S****. Sheldon is in italic font, bit like Nashville Matrix.

Shades Of Soul Issue 1 (Jan 1984)
I have a program for converting to ebook, will see how it comes out and send it on if any good. My mate had one of those machines that spiral bound paper so quite a few of mine are like that, well preserved mind.

It would be around te time that came out that whichever company it was got in touch......

Robin Thicke V Marvin Gaye: Jack Ashford Has His Say
As an aside I was once asked by a company to supply/suggest tracks that could be sampled. They did it properly, fully licenced and all that and paid me if I suggested anything that became a hit. I never followed it through

Who did Joan Baker go to Rob? He sold Keb a spare before he sold up. Any more titles from his sets?

Robin Thicke V Marvin Gaye: Jack Ashford Has His Say
It was said this morning that the Gaye's had said it was ripped off etc. thicke and Williams thinking the Gaye's didn't have the resources to fight the case and would retract sued them.....costly mistake by the looks of it. The jury weren't allowed to know that it was Thicke and Williams who were the ones who brought the case to court.

I could do with a few more choice tracks, preferably some not featured before in the Stafford Story to add to the next podcast, some I can get a sound file for too

I can't remember it?

Robin Thicke V Marvin Gaye: Jack Ashford Has His Say
I serves them right for suing the Gaye Family, only themselves to blame. They did a mix on the radio and I couldn't hear the split or join or whatever lol.
-
Robin Thicke V Marvin Gaye: Jack Ashford Has His Say
It was Thicke and Williams who sued Gaye's family apparently although the jury weren't allowed to know this. I'm glad they lost

Jimmy Wensiora
It was in a list Steve gave me I think?
-
Jimmy Wensiora
It was Steve who then sold it to Rob.
