One of my all time favourite records. Guy Hennigan's ex Thelma Laverne "I'm Coming Back Someday" cover up. Lonnette McKee recently got in touch with Guy about the disc.

She actually sheds everything, needs a good trim below The full video plays through the song with her cavorting and finally stripping off. It then goes backwards.

Is that the full version? 5 plus minutes long? I can't see it on iPad. Anyway I got told off by youtube when I posted it, her estate threatened them with legal action if it wasn't removed.

It is Kent Anniversary 45.

In didn't realise we were talking about another Sooty, I was trying to catch up with the topic when I posted so I must have missed that mention.

Ray Agee, not Northern, some of you I think are on the wrong scene. It's a northern soul classic. Nothing happened to it Sooty, it is still played by those who are lucky enough to have a copy and why not, it is fantastic IMO, rams the dancefloor every time.

Northern soul isn't one particular style of music though is it. It is all taken from various genres if the beat fits, blues, r&b, soul, pop.......

John has said before his guide prices are for a mint copy including vat. I wonder how many of those who use the guide to price their records actually use the actual price stated but not pay vat?

No I'm not far from it. Parliaments you cite took years to break as did Johnny Praye and Tommy and the Derbys even though they had Butch behind them. But someone like Butch, Andy or Mick H would I'm sure you'll agree have s better chsnce of breaking a record, especially Andy or Mick H purely because of the amount of times they DJ.

Exactly...stating the bleeding obvious as we say here.

There was no impact as output it on the scene as no one had a copy, not the DJ's who carry the clout to break a record. It is pretty obvious that as soon as Dave, Butch and Andy Dyson get a copy it is going to get some turntable action.
