Definately not a beat ballad. It is mid tempo at the least. Same as the Tropics.
  2. Well done lads The fourth round completed fifteen minutes or so ago. The final putt.... The Famous Four....

Keb spin from Stafford, covered up as Brad Lundy and Hector Rivera on the same night
  4. Who cares, not me support Ady at the 100 Club or Chris at Radcliffe. Nolan Porter appearing at both.
  5. Oscar Wright is Mr Wiggles Music/Sound Of Soul Prod though??
  6. IT's Brenda Duff on Blue Rock.
  7. Please no mp3's. Have stuck it on sound cloud for you pal whilst I'm doing nothing.
  8. Nice one, I'm useless when only a brief clip like that. Do you append to know the one Guy played as Al Kent Orchestra - One Step Beyond Love?
  9. The scratch or stamp will be in the master
  10. A brief clip of one of Keb's spins, played as the Four Voices By Myself, anyone fill in the details? https://soundcloud.com/chalkster/4-voices-by-myself
  11. Both the Arin Demain on Blue Star and Jimmy Wonderful on Blue Star are Hemisphere music?
  12. The Honey Bees on Backing as well. Realised it had a West Coast address when I read John Ridley's site but not seen a scan clear enough to see the credits.
  13. It's Jimmy Wonderful - Tonight on Blue Star. It is Arin Demain apparently. Both are from a recording of one of Keb sets. He played it twice in one set about 7 records apart and changed the cover up title in that time, I didn't double-check or listen
  14. Yep agree a bit late with the info. But most of the bids after the questions were answered.
  15. The seller does say in Q&A no matrix stamp.
  16. The lads have completed two round s of the four so far. More sponsorship is needed, want to try and break £2k barrier. https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=Golfshoeshufflers&isTeam=true
  17. Two more keb spins info needed.... Hector Rivera - You Keep Putting Me Down https://soundcloud.com/chalkster/hector-rivera-keep-putting-me Brad Lundy - It's Gonna Happen Tonight https://soundcloud.com/chalkster/brad-lundy-its-gonna-happen
  18. Is it not true that it is only in recent years though that countries like Belgium and Holland have brought their laws into line with that of the country of origin? I was told many a bootleg done over there because of the 25 years and into public domain.
  19. It would be 1983 Sean, only year in the early 80's 7th March falls on a Monday.
  20. Sussed some of them Paul. Lesser Tipton is Sebastian Williams Home Town Boy and The Four Shades is Otis Jackson & Compromisers on C&F. Trying to work out what the Innocent Bystanders Breaking Out is?
  21. He might have played them but they weren't his discoveries as ar as I'm aware. Little Ron was Gary Rushbrooke's Simms Twins cover up, Vondells was Garybas well. Gordon Keith was Dave Withers and I think late Wigan first.
  22. I doubt almost anyone knows what two major collectors have got never mind one major collector? Not to mention all those who are not part of or don't even no why northern soul is.
  23. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
I'd agree with both your comments Kev.
  24. Is there any of the lectures in writing or a recording, would love to see or hear. I enjoyed the one from 18 months or so ago.
