  1. As sorted wil close this topic. For further information as Martin suggested please use the topic in the event forum.
  2. Yes I noticed that earlier Robb.. The Jovial release is "Hambrick", presume same singer. I was sure I'd seen a Fury release with a "k" and it is in listings spelt with a "K".
  3. Pretty sure I have heard Sam (or someone) play this in recent times. Couldn't tell you anything about it though. Doesn't sound too bad either.
  4. I'm sure one was auctioned not too long ago or sold on here, didn't sell for much if memory serves. Needless to say it didn't contain the 45.
  5. Pete Lyster sent me the scan and asked if I could post on the topic......thanks Pete
  6. First time I've listened to either in a good while. Both pretty good but Patty Charles is as said spoilt by the strings.
  7. Hi Richard, I have it down as Joanne Dovall, plus no results show in a google search for Joan Duvalle on Hot. I've lost the list put this on for Andy so I can't compare with what I wrote back then.
  8. Cheers Bob. I somehow missed the Michael Sharkey download so I've three new shows to listen to this week You should set up an RSS feed or iTunes. Think the RSS one might be easier to do then won't miss any show.
  9. A scan is proving pretty elusive for Joan Duvalle (Joanne Dovall). Who owned the "Hot" label?
  10. Here you go then Robb...... https://youtu.be/f1I0mz_uqFw
  11. Nice one Richard, will have a listen later. Just a thought, you might though want to post the details in audio/video forum, might get a bit more exposure?
  12. It was indeed CFOM Vol 1 although sure it was around on the seen before then???? Anyway this is what info is on "Don't Forget The Motor City" Trapped In A Love Affair (Hal Davis-M.W. Watkins) publ. Jobete Brenda Holloway; recorded L.A., completed before 10/08/1966 ; produced by Hal Davis, Frank Wilson 03-Jun-02; CD (M): Motown 544 619 2 A Cellarful Of Motown [uK]
  13. Certain Andy put one of these on a sales list few years ago? Trying to find the list but could have been lost when moved to Mac from Windows. BTW is it not Joanne Dovall?
  14. I've never seen or heard of any talk of "She Said Goodbye" on the Fury label. His name spelt different on Fury, Hambrik whereas Hambric on Drum. Is it with a "K" on all Fury releases.
  15. I thought it was early noughties too...
  16. This came on my iPod this afternoon, great record and one I used to play out years ago......cheap as chips too
  17. I would say sound cloud, ,mix cloud or divshare.....or youtube. I don't trust sites 2shared, don't know how legal they are when sharing music? Soundcloud the best right now as can post a link and others can listen to the stream or even download if you allow. I'll give you a day or two to try and sort something and then remove these 2shared links.
  18. Yes as said done by Joe Valentine himself.
  19. Two topics merged.
