  1. I don't think it is you that has to be interested Pete it is the customer and to be honest I think there is little interest in a magazine these days. As said it is all there at the click of a mouse.
  2. Neither have I and I don't know of anyone either who has been asked but I think if you read the law the DJ should provide a list.
  3. Shades Of Soul was the best for me. I've recently been looking through the early SoS and the detail was fantastic for the time. In recent times In The Basement for across the board soul music and There's The Beat for more Northern orientated. But like Pete said the resources available far superior these days as is the research available compared to 20/30 years ago.
  4. Gilly will know. It was him who got it first from Dave Hamilton I think but not sure of the format.
  5. I've heard many stories of records going mission in Italy to the point where many will not even post there now and other only posting with full tracking and signed for all the way. The same for France as well.
  6. Hello LaJay, I'm great thanks, likewise I hope? That is good news about new music from you. Looking forward to it. Will be in touch later.
  7. Not true. The establishment should be licensed for live music and entertainment etc and that covers the DJ. All the DJ should do is provide the venue with a list of what he or she has played. If a DJ plays in an unlicensed venue then that is a different matter.
  8. Likewise downloading for the iPod and next weeks listening along with Lee Fields and the new Paul Kelly cd from Kent which I've just transferred to the iPod, cheers Seb.
  9. I don't think people are complaining just debating the question and challenging your comments and the disclaimer you claim make it all ok.
  10. But isn't fair use a sample only of the recording? Not the full recording?
  11. I don't doubt that for a minute.
  12. You should change the name of the account then cause the uploader etc is John Manship.
  13. sent. I still have a tape player, not long ago bought a second for transferring tapes and all set up at side of computer
  14. Steve, transferring to a PC is easy but send me a couple to start with, I will get them digitised and online. Can look into rest once underway.
  15. Be good to listen to the interview or a transcribe Steve. Same for all the interviews you have.
  16. I thought YouTube paid a fee to the authorities for the use of cyrighted material...
  17. I thought Fairmount was first and the edited for the Rouser release? The Rouser copy uses the Fairmount number.
  18. That vg- will be a UK excellent Nev To be fair it does sound pretty good when listening to the sound files, not much noise at the start at all.

Brogues Steve, Country Brogue I think they call them, but wider at the front than Oxfords. Had this pair over 15 years, need a new sole though.
