Dave Rimmer’s site as good as anywhere. I presume when you say Tamla Motown you want the Uk label? https://www.soulfulkindamusic.net/tamlamotown.htm

News: The New Sensations, Detroit - The Full Story by MD Records
Another initially sad story of a failed group in Detroit but with labels like MD, Mark, Des and Jordan, all who care more about the music and its heritage than the money, the group finally gets the recognition it deserves. Keep up the great work. Some top notch previously unreleased soul music has had the recognition it deserves through the work of MD Records.

The forgotten and the forgettable
😵💫😏 same for many

The forgotten and the forgettable
Both Move Me and Where Is He are as bad as each other. Judy Street I did say out of fashion but as wide eyed youths at 2am it is/was great, not something I'd want to hear today.

The forgotten and the forgettable
exactly, why I left the soul out

The forgotten and the forgettable
Opposite for me, Flamma Sherman is terrible, Judy Street, might be a bit out of fashion these days but its a great Northern dancer.

Come Go With Me - Instrumental
There is as far as I know no official release of the instrumental in any format? Isn't the extended mix of heartbeat just Pt1 and Pt2 together?

BBC Radio 6 Music celebrates the 50th anniversary of Wigan Casino with a 'Northern Soul All-Nighter'
It’s because we want it done right. I found the Torch, Wheel and 100 Club enjoyable, Richards contribution too. Russ was all about him again. It’s not just about the music though, the history and getting it right is also very important IMO.

The forgotten and the forgettable
It was an oldie by the late 80s. Sam late 70s played it

BBC Radio 6 Music celebrates the 50th anniversary of Wigan Casino with a 'Northern Soul All-Nighter'
Full of inaccuracies, Signatures have played with all the major soul acts. Said it not once but twice 🙄

BBC Radio 6 Music celebrates the 50th anniversary of Wigan Casino with a 'Northern Soul All-Nighter'
Finally found Richards contribution which was on the nose and much more pertinent with regards to the Casino. Had suffer some rubbish from Charles and some of his guests to find it mind. Hopefully, once this is all over Marconie and Charles will not be allowed anywhere near the subject again.

BBC Radio 6 Music celebrates the 50th anniversary of Wigan Casino with a 'Northern Soul All-Nighter'
The beeb finally get it right letting those who were there and involved tell the story of some of the iconic all-nighters. We also learn that there was a scene before and after the Casino 🙄😂 The only one that let it down was the one that featured the venue that we are celebrating, Russ and the Casino. Not just his choice of music but his constant rewriting of history and bollox. I get the grudge between Richard and Russ but to airbrush the venues greatest Dj out altogether was simply criminal. Some of the scene most iconic records were first played there and we get Ghost in My House ffs. More cobblers about the records he “discovered” plus the DILY saga. Would have been nice to hear some modern soul and show the scene wasn’t all about 60s stompers.

BBC Radio 6 Music celebrates the 50th anniversary of Wigan Casino with a 'Northern Soul All-Nighter'
Louis (R.I.P.), one of the Cybermen was the manager of the Tiffs which Richard booked believing the Casino was closing. Russ and one other promoter tried to book it but Louis hid from them so that only Richard and Bernie got the place. Of course when Russ heard bout thw October wvent Richard was promoting to keep Northern in Wigan Russ had “one” more night 🙄 He also discovered the three before eight as well 🙄

Philadelphia Record Labels: 45RPM Discography
You take my money, waste my time and come with poor excuses after two months of silence and you want me to be quiet 😂 I’ve nothing more to say anyway having had a refund via PayPal and secured a copy via Dave Brown who doesn’t have the same issues you seem to be having.
