  1. I've seen good copies too, probably more copies with damage mind.
  2. Topic here mate puzzling a few of us. At first I though it was to highlight other sales or a website but can't see either?
  3. There's a few tracks of hers in the Motown Singles collection. I was going to mention her but couldn't find a picture on line quick enough and couldn't remember her proper name Anyway cheers for the quiz, keeps quite a few of us amused for a couple of hours at least
  4. Bob Crewe connection at all?
  5. Personally I don't think either are soul and the Copper n Brass is even worse than Chicago......god knows how it ever got played considering the amount of decent music at the DJ's disposal back then.
  6. not at all. Do you have an answer to the question as well as an opinion that it is the better recording? Personally upon hearing I can see why it was canned, totally inferior to Jackie Beavers.
  7. Deffo original with a stamped "R" Rod.
  8. maybe , whatever, not a fact I agree with and I didn't ask which was the best version
  9. that's an opinion not an answer
  10. I don't know Richard, it would suggest it was recorded and at least scheduled for a release. I've never seen or heard of a Jackie Beavers take of IRFDAN.
  11. A good/vg- copy just finished on ebay at $450. https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=306&item=330512085428&nma=true&rt=nc&si=oopvQmS8%252FaDF%252BT9rdlcEdB0r9bs%253D
  12. The "In The Basement" interview is with Wislon Gary Gant, there throughout the groups history. I presume they would have run the discog by him? There is nothing from the group listed betweeen 1968 (Diamond) and 1973 (Silver Blue). Dave's site also has Herman Coefield in the line up. He joined around 1966 according to the interview replacing Roy Jolly who sang lead on all the DynoVoice material.
  13. Interesting one Ian. I've got the latest "In The Basement" at the side of me in which there is the story of the Invitations. No mention of it in the discography and I can't see any links from the credits on the disc to any members of the Invitations either.
  14. off topic removed, it is for record tips, if it was for any other tips it would be in Freebasing and not in a soul forum.
  15. just looking on popsike, this one is listed as a 100% real one but looking at the colour it looks like a boot....certainly looks like the colour of the boot upstairs. real one should be more like this colour....
  16. Just checked the boot I have on the shelf. The "H" is definitely stamped on it although that is the only stamp. The colour of the label is beige rather than the off white the real one should be.Quite easy to tell side by side.
  17. The "H" is stamped on the boot as well.
  18. listing it at the price he has proves he's not right in the head
  19. listen again at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00wswdp
  20. re-listed at $5,150.00. can anyone see what this seller is doing, I've looked at his other items, surely not to attract attention to those? I can't see any link to a website either?
