  1. totally legit as first time issued apart from the CD. Think it was recorded at same session as Girl Across The Street. £30ish I would have thought. Think all the stock has gone so it will have to be from a dealer or private .
  2. It was a cheapie not so long ago. Andy Dyson and Butch started playing it, went bananas. I was listening to the AT&T copy at Andys last week.
  3. Tribulations - You Gave Me Up For Promises - Imperial over a minute the intro/slow start before it kicks in.
  4. Moses Smith was unissued until a few years ago when issued on a Dionn look-a-like label. Fully legit.
  5. Ok, thanks

  10. What are they made of Malayka? Doesn't give that info on site, or I can't see it.
  11. Cheers Phil.
  12. think it's a one off/unissued RCA lp. Think Irish Greg had it? Sure he will confirm if he reads this or someone else will no doubt.

I think any DJ these days would love a playlist like that. Some of those still getting regular plays today.
  16. nice one Kenny mate
  17. Cheers Paul, will take a look little later in the meantime if anyone got spare giver us a shout.
  18. It was down to around 400 few years ago, few had turned up, remember Hammie from Beds buying one at 100 Club.
  19. I would agree he had bigger records but his sets were strong throughout, every record almost a good one. Other DJ's often get mentioned before Pat from mid 80's but for me back then he had one of the best sets around.
  20. Briefly Gareth? Was massive mid 80's for Pat Brady covered up as Lee Blackmore and the Soul Searchers. Can also think of other clubs as opposed to just the 100 Club which which were just as influential with records of this type.
  21. post away Phil always loved a bit of DooWop.
  22. Sad news You can read Andy Rix's original draft for the Shrine story and cd booklets https://www.soul-source.co.uk/articles/soul-articles/shrine-the-full-and-first-issue-story-by-andy-rix-r309
  23. I remember years ago being offered one for £100 and I passed on it, bought summat else instead
  24. cheers Phil, always thought they were slightly different
  25. I might be wrong Phil, but certain the one I think is the 003 take is straight from the record, nothing missing. Could be wrong. Has anyone got an mp3 of the 003 release? Think your right about the flips with Hey Boy being the one to have.
