Does Anyone Know Alan Champ?
yeah still on there Pete. Don't post much though. Untill the politics took over 2 or 3 years ago it was a good laugh and a good source for info and a way of meeting people, some hilarious stories from the likes of Dave Olley etc. It had the chance to move on as the internet progressed but failed to do so. Forums so much easier than e-mail based lists.

people seem to be prepared to pay well over the odds for the old classics Said it before I bet if they ask on places like here they would get one at a reasonable price!

Any Help Appreciated With A Coupla Track Ids
They are the same as far as I can tell. Wasn't it thought at one time that it was demo'ed as Frankie Karl and then issued as 7th Avenue Aviators untill an issue turned up of Frankie Karl T'other side pretty good group too.

Manship Auctions
I thought 3 or 4 sold for about the right price. Alex Brown I've seen set sale £600, Star tones £400.... Lois Paul sold one on Andy's list some months ago for less than half that price!

don't worry what anyone thinks about you being off the scene for any length of time. Plenty of folk willing to help regardless of your circumstances.

me too mate, if it's unissued get it played. it's no different really to getting a cut/vinyl carver of an unissued track done.

it's been 75 or more for quite some time now, certainly a lot longer than two months. More like a year!

Lost Years Of The 1980s
The Winding Wheel was the best venue I've ever been to. Still the same too as it';s a grade 1 listed building. Would love to get another nighter there...maybe I' should pop in and have a word. Upstairs room for 400 and 150, downstairs for 700 and another small room. I thought there was more than 3 tho'

One for sale on here not so long ago if I remember rightly for around a ton. Think I listed one for Andy for about the same price about a year ago Agree though could well be more now.

Paris Blues
Don 't think the quality is disputed, except by Col Just disputing the comment that there's nothing better...Sam Williams is far better record IMHO.
