  1. sure I saw one last week for around 40 quid.
  2. good choice T'other side pretty good as well. Played them botrh out on and off over last couple of years.
  3. I think the Mello Souls would fetch just as much if it came up for sale. It's just as rare at the end of the day, if not rarer.
  4. I can honestly say it would be the Mello Souls for me. It's one of the best if not the best Northern Soul dancer for me. Frank Wilson has never evoked the same reaction or "wow" factor that the Mello Souls has, even upon first hearing. Don't get me wrong it's top notch northern but just doesn't hold the same appeal as the Mello Souls. Now if you'd said Judy Street..... . I also rate Butch's Diane Lewis far more highly than Frank Wilson, a close second IMHO behind Mello Souls.
  5. If yours is the release # 7235 you ought to flip it over, Salute To Lovers, another cracking side.

  12. Would have thought 250/300. Sure I put one on a list for Andy D last year @ £250 I think
  13. Old Rob Marriott spin at one time. Didn't think it was that rare myself. Know one or two who picked this up recently.
  14. also released on Dynamo very very rare though.
  15. Last few I've seen have been around the £350/£400 mark. Not heard Andy play this for long time now.
  16. cheers, never realised it was released on 7".
  17. don't they have to be under 2mb in size to upload as well?
  18. don't think it's released yet but you can pre-order at Amazon... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Time-Place-Lee-Mos...TF8&s=music
  19. I Got To Have Your Love - fantastic four - westbound No comic book heroes here....Joseph Pruitt, Paul Scott, Cleveland Horne & James Epps are the Fantastic Four! 1977 Westbound lp Got To Have Your Love.
  20. It's Up to You - righteous brothers - verve from the excellent Souled Out lp.....4 or 5 other worthwhile tracks on the lp.
  21. Ist issue only, 2nd issue different. There's also the Essex.
  22. Heard at two of the last three venues I've been two, last weekend being the last time I heard it. Trouble is can't stop in well not too often, love the music too much, hammered to death or not and just not the same at home
  23. personally think the only thing thats "ruined" this particular record (and many other big sounds) is the constant hammer these records have by dj's these days and not the boot legging like you said it doesn't really have any affect on the average joe blogs. I would agree with what Paul says but it's like banging your head against a brick wall at times trying to stop them. They've been at it since practically the beginning and they will still be there as long as there's a market for them.

  25. Definately was The Winding Wheel Alan. If I remember rightly there used to be a gay bar below the Con Club. Remember all the hassle, all cars stopped in main car park in town centre, buses turned back...bastards All that hassle they caused and they nicked one person They would have had better luck at the Adam and Eve down the road.
