  1. I will agree with that Win, said it for years now At the end of the day we're dying from the day we are born and we all have to clock out sometime, might as well be to summat we love
  2. In other words you prefer the pop northern to the soulful northern
  3. Hi Steve, seen for around the £600 mark, maybe bit more depending who was selling, seen as high as £800. Got a Soul Harmony thanks, nice copy from Paul Sutton from Brighton way

top tune...used to spin this a lot in the 80's nice and cheap to but certainly not lacking in the quality department.
  5. I'd be too lazy to look for another record so I'd just flip this...Starting The Hurt All Over Again

is that the nighters or soul nights John?
  7. one of my all time faves I did have scan of the flip but can't find it

The soul nights there were fantastic, most of the top record dealers always there, top music from top DJs....maybe not every time as I managed to gert a set there The nighters just weren't the same IMHO once the soul nights finished. Top marks to Chris Anderton though for putting Bretby on the map.
  9. From a very reliable source.......the lead on Lonely Lonely is Roy Haggins & the flip side has David Jones taking the lead ... Morris was in the group but declined the chance to take centre stage on these two outings as he had his eyes on some other songs ... the 4th member was Robert Jones. PM'ed you the flip Robert

The one on the tape is taken directly from the record, I taped it myself so if yours is some what short the one on the tape will be better

the one I have on the PC is 2.24 long. Have it on tape from when I listed it for a sales list for Andy D. I'll have to find it sometime

Do you mean Special Agent 200 on Yellow John? I've been told, pretty sure it was mentioned on the RSF when this disc talked about some time ago, that thew SP-1 mix does exist on both Red and Yellow Special Agent 200. Haven't seen myself, can only pass on what was said on the RSF.
  13. I think you should scrub your ears out....not in the same league as Dean Parrish IMHO or that other bloke whose name you forgot from me

No headphone socket? I think Roxio if you have their recorder will also split the tracks for you to save messing about.
  15. I take it you mean legally? It's been around for years not quite so legally was on the Motown lp knocked out late 80's by well known DJ.
  16. I've been wracking me brains Gash to try and remember what cd I had the track on to do you mp3...no need now as someone already done it at least I now know what cd it's on thanks to the ebay link

I'm sure I took a recording of the white demo when listing it for Andy. Won't be till mid week at least till I can look through tapes. It's the same as the one Ady posted, drums, piano and horns intro.
  18. Been trying to remember what cd I had this track on now I know

it is on here somewhere and quality is poor, not tried cleaning up, will have a go when time allows. I've probably got it on another tape somewhere, will have a look sometime. Rarely see it for sale nowadays. Maybe too fast these days?

the mix with the intro is on both red and yellow Special Agent 200 with flip The Love I Found In You. yellow Special Agent 201 with different flip, Things Ain't Right, off top of my head this is one without intro, maybe someone else will verify as well. imo probaby the rarest? white demos without the intro (drum and piano) probably the rarest and white demos with the intro (horns) do exist as well.

Don't you think the price is a bit high in the first place....for a re-issue at that Personally I would think most e-bay users would see it anyway....but I'll slap my wrists and write a 100 lines

Willie Mason is a lot cheaper although Nat Hall is probably the original version, he did write it.
