  2. I'm pretty sure the reason so rare originally is that it was withdrawn??? It ends so abruptly IMO because it's not finished and thats why they withdrew it

    Butch played the Masqueraders last night at the Union in Notts @ Kitch's birthday bash....awesome record. When he discovers and plays records like the Masqueraders c/u, the Profiles c/u and Gerri Taylor "It's Beautiful" c/u it just confirms his status as the number one rare soul DJ.

  13. The Rainbows used to get spins from Steve Smith around the original Bretby years. Ella Washington had some spins at Stafford. Other side great deep soul. Came out on Atlantic too I think.

  23. The biggest one I passed up was at Bradford Queens Hall, Tina Roberts One Way Or The Other (Security). Pete Lawson offered it to me for either £60 or £100 can't remember which. Try finding one now Was happy though at the time with what I'd spent my money on so can't grumble
