Dunno Pete, brain a wash with ale from last night, not saying it's from same session but still think it sounds like same lead. I'll have another listen when head clears a bit
Can remember you asking me about it Pete when you got it. Been a tape swapper track for years but never done owt dancefloor wise. Poor record IMO...the lyrics don't seem to go too well with the backing and no where near as strong as Like The Lord Said IMO.
Your right Ted The Hyperions Rob played belonged to Steve Smith initially. Sandy Golden Rob sold to Richard Searling for a couple of grand, three records involved iin the deal if memory serves me correctly.
Ja-Wes not that much rarer IMO so save yourself a few bob for further vinyl purchases and get the Daran release, if your after one. Seen a few recent months between £250 and £400 (bit steep IMO). Can remember Steve Smith giving this big spins late 80's early 90's, the original Bretby Soul nights
The Gold Token on ewas released twice, both sides on one different to the other release, one side shorter and one side longer. Will dig notes out or find the info...think the matrix numbers are different.
Bit of fun? Only seen two of your posts and both seem to be stirring it a touch by the looks of it The least you could do is put your real name at the end so we know who's doin the stirring
No one gives Rob any credit at all for spinning this, would be early 90's...around '92. He was deffo first to play it, got it frrom Tim Brown who got two copies, Nick Stevenson was offered first pick but declined
didn't one of the foreign guys play this too Mike @ Middleton, can remember talking about it! Been a few up for sale via one source or another the last 18 months or so.
