  1. What was the record?
  2. Always been the same whenever I've been Win, many Cleggy biggies from days gone by
  3. Cleethorpes tho' in it's defence was an upfront venue in it's day, not just 60's but many 70's so would have thought you would hear more modern sounds there. As for Desboro' I voted with my feet and stopped going.
  4. With the number of copies about how can the Oxford Knights be worth £650 It's listed on e-bay weekly. If folk did their homework and refused to buy from the sellers the price would slowly come down to reasonable levels.
  5. There is a very simple way to download the full file without all the messing about. PM me if you wanna know how
  6. Sean I think
  7. They are downloadable
  8. Many records are indemand on other scenes for the flip's, in-demand deep, funk and doo-wop etc can often be found on the other side
  9. I wouldn't take one if you offered it free
  10. Seen the Barbara English for £200ish recently.

  12. couple by him to hand but not that one, could be on a tape or cd but wouldn't know where to start looking
  13. Agree with you Andy. Less weekenders too, getting too common now IMO.
  14. But who are the big ticket items like Lester Tipton, Al Williams etc gonna be of interest to in 10 to 15 years time. The scene is slowly dying with not enough youngsters coming onto the scene to sustain it for a couple of decades IMO. You only have to look round venues to see the average age, doesn't bode well for the future IMO. Same with the record bars, not many youngsters in them and one day all these 40 plus collectors, many older will all sell without (IMO) a market to sell too. Of course I hope I'm completely wrong
  15. Should be more like 50 quid with the number of copies about
  16. F***** priceless Can just imagine summat like this out of a comedy show let alone the life and times of a soulie I bet they could write a top notch comedy with the antics that have happened on the scene
  17. Go >>HERE<< and buy his latest release.....called....yep, My Life
  18. If you are in San Antonio Texas you can see him >HERE<<
  19. Joe has his own web site or did and don't think he has or had any copies of My Life
  20. Andy Fisher very rare, £1500 maybe more. Ella Woods seen anything between £300 and £600 the past year.
  21. I'm gonna buy a lighter, then we can both set your arm on fire and you won't know who's done it
  22. No just a link to Andys site which I help out with
  23. You Need Love - The Blendells
