  1. Agree, as are some of their others All available on 45 or Heart & Soul Album There are more but for anyone who hasn't heard them for a while AUDIO ARTS 60006 - THE INCREDIBLES - THERE'S NOTHING ELSE TO SAY https://www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Incredi...Else_To_Say.ram AUDIO ARTS 60006 - THE INCREDIBLES - ANOTHER DIRTY DEAL https://www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Incredi..._Dirty_Deal.ram AUDIO ARTS 60007 - THE INCREDIBLES - I FOUND ANOTHER LOVE https://www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Incredi...nother_Love.ram AUDIO ARTS 60010 - THE INCREDIBLES - I CAN'T GET OVER LOSING YOUR LOVE https://www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Incredi...g_Your_Love.ram AUDIO ARTS 60016 - THE INCREDIBLES - MISS TREATMENT https://www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Incredi...s_Treatment.ram Quality I have been trying to collect this group over the years, the different label variations being something of a challenge, but most can be obtained at quite a low cost, value for money every time I'd say. i.e. WHITE DEMO - DARK BLUE - LIGHT GREEN - MULTICOLOURED - PRE (AMY MALA BELL), etc
  2. I haven't bought the Kent CD yet, although it will be one of my next purchases. I was refering to the goldmine cd & records on Mirwood There is definately a difference on my system. I setup for any other CD switch on the surround sound and although I can hear the surround in operation, the surround sound speakers really come to life when I play Mirwood tracks. This became evident as, at first when I bought the speakers, I was a little disappointed with them. Then one day I put the Mirwood CD on and couldn't believe it.
  3. As I have mentioned before I already have Night Owl on a Monarch Press - Styrene ( The same as the 47 pictured ) I also have the DEMO - Vinyl The question again for me is; Considering that it was Bobby's private collection ...... Does an Original DEMO exist on the Monarch press - Styrene.
  4. About 18 years ago I bought a Kenwood Hi Fi system with surround sound speakers added soon after. When I play any Mirwood CD / Record, the surround sound really comes to life. All of the Mirwood label was recorded before surround sound was popularised or even thought of, so I wondered, did Mirwood use different studio equipment to everyone else or did they record at a different level in the studio. Has anyone else noticed this?
  5. BRILLIANT
  6. I believe that there are a couple of CD's about on ebay at the moment containing Dee Dee Warwicks work.
  7. Dee Dee Warwick - Awsome
  8. In the Early days when I was young "Walk On By" & "Reach Out For Me" etc caught my attention and I thank Dionne ( & Baccarach/David) for that, however .......... I have to say that Dee Dee definately has the edge if I had to choose. I have, in recent years bought quite a few of Dee Dee Warwicks records. Every one superb.
  9. Hi Mark I have a British DEMO of this one; UNITED ARTISTS - UP 2230 - VINCE EDWARDS - COUNTRY DURHAM DREAM / IT`S THE SAME OLD SONG I believe that it was released, but I'm not sure how many copies were sold?
  10. Eddie Parker - But If You Must Go
  11. One of my favourites too BOTH SIDES I can still remember hearing the B side for the first time, thinking that it was just the instrumental to the A Side, then the Magic moment when the Vocal comes in again .... WOW One of the classic openings for me, and one of the longest ................................. HEATWAVE
  12. Wonderful record this, I tried a couple of times to obtain a Pink Demo in the 70s, I ended up being fortunate to find an issue. At the time I didn't realise that it was the rarer of the two. Either way great record, hard to find, well done. Oh and as far as price is concerned, to me priceless.
  13. Does anyone know if any of the other White Demos on Mirwood were made like 5523 Mirwood 5523 - The Olympics - Baby, Do The Philly Dog / Western Movies - WHITE DEMO (I have had this in my collection for years) Mirwood 5523 - The Olympics - Baby, Do The Philly Dog / Baby, Do The Philly Dog - WHITE DEMO (I have recently bought this) I just wondered if Mirwood 5511 - Bobby Garrett - My Little Girl - ever came out as a WHITE DEMO The WHITE DEMO that I have for this number is Mirwood 5511 - Bobby Garrett - Big Brother / Big Brother

He wrote - "He's A Rebel" - Darlene Loves Vocal - Brilliant One of those records from the early days when I was only 9 years old that helped to steer me towards Soul Music in later years.
  16. Throughout the years I have seen numerous copies of this, and I suppose, because it is so cheap I now have 3 different label variations = Different Pressing Plants? I have always like this record, My Question is This is a fantastic track and cheap too, but has anyone ever seen a DEMO? If so would this command a much higher price.
  17. Paul I also noticed this as my Trans-American copy on Vinyl doesn't jump wheras the C.D. track does However, if you find a copy of C'MON & DANCE VOLUME 1 - GSCD 8Z - You will find a Track on C.D. without the annoying jump. I think that a lot of early C.D.'s were sourced from Original Tapes & 45 . This may explain this anomally.
  18. I wonder if it was recorded in one go like a lot were in those days, or edited/mixed in the studio from various takes. Fine bit of whistling, anyone know anything about The Funky Sisters. How many people etc
  19. Sorry, probably phrased this wrong (Known DEMO) anyone a scan / info of the less common version? I believe that there IS another DEMO, as I indicated further in my text. Also, some of the Cameo & Parkway only have very faint Matrix Stamps Frankford/Wayne - Bell Sound etc
  20. Can I assume that this is the only known DEMO (Scan attached) The reason I ask is that I have Bobby Paris on a Monarch Issue - Also the Vinyl DEMO as PIC (BOTH - Bought from Soul Bowl in the early 1970s) I have always assumed a DEMO somewhere for the Monarch Issue, Possibly Red, Yellow or even White Label. (See info for C-347) (i.e. Title at top of Label - Artist at Bottom) - ? I have DEE DEE SHARP - THERE AIN'T NOTHING I WOULDN'T DO - C-347 2 x Different DEMO's and one issue; Yellow / Black - D J Copy - Not For Sale - Vinyl (Which has Artist at Top and Title at Bottom of the Label) Issue of C-347 is on Styrene / Monarch - (Which has Title at the Top & Artist at the bottom) Another DEMO for C-347 on Styrene / Monarch again (Title at the Top & Artist at the bottom of Label) This one RED but with PROMOTIONAL - NOT FOR SALE - Printed on the Label I have DEE DEE SHARP on Canadian White/Black Cameo but has reference to Quality at bottom of Label

Bought from Soul Bowl PEACHTREE 103 - PEG LEG MOFFETT - THE SHOCKER / TEENY WEENY BIT Written & Produced by William Bell I have just checked my copy. It has "Nashville Matrix" & "music city" Stamped on both sides of vinyl
  22. I have the Red DEMO on Vinyl as you describe However, my issue is Styrene - which is a Monarch Matrix - so there could be another DEMO

Saw her at Sheffield supporting Temps & Four Tops. Only sang 3 songs (Inc Loves Gone Bad & Do I Love You) - but still brilliant, what a Bonus as she wasn't billed on the Ticket

Always be careful of the label, Antibacterial all purpose wipes, soap & water. Toothpaste, in extreme circumstances. Don,t forget it's a mild abrasive but be careful. Use all options at your own risk, I have found the above method to work with the records, found at car boot without sleeve etc. It can restore and obtain quite a good result with playability. At the end of the day, only so much can be done i'm afraid Rinse well, find a nice clean towel. An unused small paint pad also useful if used carfully with record on an old turntable. The main thing is to take care. Rare items, any cleaning method is always tricky
  25. I hope that this helps
