  1. For those that do own a copy what's the condition like, I haven't found anyone to date that has a 'mint' copy; mine seems to be like everyone else's and comes with surface scratch's but play's great.

  3. New and updated website is now on-line: www.soulstuff.co.uk View full article
  4. Just thought I'd update Soul Source with details of the updated website and the demise of the original website. www.worcssoul.info has been on-line for over two years now but over the last two months I've been experiencing problems with the Hosting company. Plus people either can't say the web address or see it as purely a website for Worcestershire Soul events only, not the case. With this in mind I've brought www.soulstuff.co.uk on-line. It still concentrates on the main Soul Events organised by Steve, Rob, John&Don but includes, with more detail, a broader range of events; including either Flyers or Website links from around the UK and beyond. New is also the inclusion of recommended Radio Stations, it's worth coming back to see what's new. Thanks for looking, come have a look at the site some time www.soulstuff.co.uk lloydee

  12. Pete, brilliant footage once again. Still to this day it makes me laugh when footage from the late 6t's and early 7t's when I see a white guy in a DJ dancing to Soul Music; so out of place
  13. Naa, it's not that difficult; come drive in the car with me and I'll sing it to you I like Ross but this video and sound leave me cold; not quite the heady days of Vagas but you see the she want's to give it that big performance but knows the voice will not hold out. That Ami Whinninghouse track; a bit more enthusiasum dear, you are being paid to perform.

  18. Can't believe that no one has made a mention to this, so here goes; My lovely wife bought me a DAB radio for the office at Christmas and on opening it I duly tuned it in and started pre-tuning the normal stations and there's a new station - theJazz. A worthy replacement for the old JazzFM, playlists aren't repeated on the hour like SmoothFm and there's no inane chatter like most other stations. The playlist moves from 30/40's jazz all the way through to modern day classics but be warned; it's not soul music it's jazz of the best flavour. It turns out that theJazz launched on Dec 25th so I was gifted with two nice surprises on Christmas Day. Take a listen, it's on SKY and tinternet at www.thejazz.com for on-line listening.
  19. Have to agree with Steve P on the Bobby Hutton track, miss & you'll regret it Paul's service on sending out the singles is spot on, bought the Hutton promo on a Monday and was playing it the following day, fab lloydee (Pisces)
