  2. An hour of rare and classic 60s and crossover sounds. Hope you enjoy. /Carl
  3. Love James Hunter, among the very best current acts IMO.
  4. Had a few like that myself, but TBF got a full refund for them.
  5. But the other side, Movin’ on a groove, is the main spin.
  6. It certainly gets played now.
  7. Totally agree with Benji here, I’d say 25 % max.
  8. Especially high since the flip was in bad condition.
  9. Cos unless I’m missing something this is the original issue copy whilst the orange 48-1035 is the 70 reissue.
  10. I might be missing something obvious here, but what makes this the 70s 2nd issue?
  11. Cracking track indeed. I wasn’t commenting on this particular 45 being a boot or not. I was commenting on you stating that because it’s on Discogs it must be legit, which is simply not the case. Although Discogs have pulled lots of unofficial releases/boots, there are still plenty left — Mel Britt and Magnetics on Sable being two that spring to mind.
  12. Are you suggesting that being on Discogs makes it legit? Tons of things on Discogs that would struggle to qualify as legit releases.

  14. One man’s VG+ etc…
  15. The last few copies I’ve seen have gone around that mark. I know Darren Brown sold a VG for 1200 a while back, and it went quickly.
  16. The Karen issue certainly is rare.
  17. Absolutely incredible record as far as I’m concerned, could listen to it every day.
  18. Reminds me of when Moerer had quantity of the Doris & Kelley 45 for set sale and put one of the many copies up for auction. Of course the auction price exceeded the set sale price for identical (M-) copies:)
  19. Check your PMs please.
  20. If you’re grading correctly/honestly, yes:)
  21. Yes, definitely VG-, though it played ok. Jason is a very conservative grader in my experience, and I would say that his VG is generally equal to or better than most UK dealers’ EX. I’m certainly not saying all UK sellers are like that, but many of the established ones are, as far as I’m concerned.
  22. Also, most major UK dealers (not all!) are quite sloppy with their grading. For example, a M- could look like this:
  23. Their VG is easily as good as most major UK dealers’ EX grade. I guess that strict grading explains some high prices achieved for VG or less records.
  24. Yes, of course. But in my experience most people, myself included, would never be interested in a G+ copy at all, that’s why I deemed it a less than perfect comparison.
