years ago was in a phone box to craig moorer(his list came through). i was buying darrell banks,timi yuro & archie bell thousand wonders lp.said archie just sold 5mins before i called. said hed go & look to find his own copy of archie lp. only had £4 for phone,the money was going down faster than house prices @ moment. had few pence left,came back saying he found it & said cause nae in the best of nik i could have it for nowt. was most chuffed & was sent surface,it came in a week & lps were cheap to.

WHEN I HAD MY COPY. IT WAS A STILL SEALED COPY FROM BLACK KNIGHT RECORDS,HE WAS UP @ A GLASGOW RECORD FAIR 90'S. HE HAD ABOUT 20 SS TEMPESTS & 20 SS HESITATIONS £25 A GO,I JUST BOT THE TEMPESTS. SHOULD OF BOT THE LOT WHEN I THINK ABOUT IT. WENT TO A SOUL NITE SAME NITE.HAD A STARDUST COPY OF TEMPESTS SOLD IT CAUSE HAD LP NOW. GUY WHO BOT STARDUST COPY PLAYED IT IN HIS SPOT,KENNY BURRELL STANDING NEXT TO ME GOES WHATS THAT,THAT IS AWSOME. I SAID GOT A COPY FOR SALE,LP ONLY.HE DECLINED. PROB DIDNT WANT CAUSE IT WAS ON LP.DONT THINK HE DOES LP'S.

YEARS AGO I WAS LOOKING THROUGH DISCOVERYS MAGAZINE,CAME ACROSS A MOMENTS ON HOG. GOT EXCITED,BUT IT WAS JUST AN INSTRUMENTAL.SO DIDNT BID ON IT. SPOKE TO MICK H LAST YEAR & HE SAID HE WAS SPEAKING ABOUT IT TO A M8 THE WEEK BEFORE. SAID IT WAS NAE A BAD RECORD. ANY1 HAVE A SOUND CLIP OF THIS,CANT REMEMBER TITLES.

even that boggs r closed now. u cant even take a piss these days. anyway the talc would get stuck in between the gaps in the tiles & the punters would just go to sniff the toilet cleaning blocks. had dez in this affo,told him all of above,but a bit more subtle than you richie,lol. back to the record,he's had a few nice offers.

i won a 45 off this dealer 2weeks ago. got my 45 no problem. he seemed a genuine guy,very friendly in his emails. a photo of the broken 45 would be the best thing to do. he told me to look out for other sales he was putting up on bay,i forgot to look,or i mite of seen b/lloyd. also said was thinking of puting up his 19 shrine record for sale,as he cant get the other copys to finish the collection.

copys of carol andersons were on lists every month,the same time as the enchantments. all @ £60/70. couldnt give records away @ that time tho(mid 90s). carol was always on fortnum & spencers list. cant remember if it was them or a big dealer who turned up a pile?.always saying just down to my last few.
