45 went for £265 late last year on evil bay. opening bid got it. I was gutted was watching it and was gonna bid when i got in from work only got the end time mixed up. At the time i had a spare £700 to play with which i knew would have been well enough to win it. Still gutted. Steve

Whats wrong with Peggy March, Paul Anka, Kiki dee etc, etc. Still sound good when played out are you gonna say Bobby Paris, Ad Libs, etc shouldn't be played to ? Musical snobbery. Its a dance scene that were into not a black music dance scene. It just happens to be predominately black music.The whole music scene we love is built around diversity. Yeah. Met 2 old mates of mine whilst on holiday in Icemeler( Turkey ) one year. I was sat round the pool when i suddenly heard the sound of a two stroke engine being drowned out by this noise ( singing ) we are the mods. Been me i had to go and investigate and i couldnt believe my eyes when Chris Butler & his mrs from Warrington where outside my hotel, They had heard i was over there and decided to try and find me. Barry, I used to bump into Smokey a lot at Lowton but since i stopped going i only see him now n again at the odd nighter. Still as daft as a brush, nothing changes Steve

Spent almost the entire night outside parr hall with smokey looking for some green n clears he had deposited safely under the trees oppposite the nighter only when he said it was a while back and the trees where only bushes at the time of said hiding them did we realise they could have been under anyone of them and it may or may not have even been in warrington. that totally cracked us up.
