In my opinion one of the venues that was at the leading edge for new and up front music in the 80,s and 90,s was the Saints Club in St Helens, And unless you frequented the place you would never list it as a leader in its day, much like the Greatstone is today. Andy says landmark venues. Why not create a Hall of Fame for such places. So that the people behind the venues get some recognition.the regulars know who these unsung heros are but the majority dont.
