I looked after Keith on the day of his admission at UHNM, and he had a very rough ride that day, but he pulled through with grumpy cheer. Hes at peace now.
RIP to a Northern Soul legend.
Jim.
Credit to your self and your colleagues Jim for looking after the likes of Keith and others through these VERY challenging times.
Credit where credits due

So sad to hear of the loss of, as Kev discribed "A True Legend". Many happy memories and times with this guy, I always said to Keith that he should have been where Kev Roberts was and the reason he wasn;t was - too many Slow horses, fast women and that "One more record".
I will always be grateful to him for giving my son Ben, his "break" at DJing when Keith promoted the George.
RIP my old friend

I can't believe that Bill is no longer with us. We've travelled to so many venues together (never got lost when I was driving did we?!!!) and had many fun nights. When the restrictions are lifted we intend to arrange a soul night in Bill's honour and try to raise some money for a charity of Sue's choice. Now you're in soul heaven, R.I.P. my friend, you will be so missed. Mike
Put me down to DJ Mike, it would be an honour and pleasure.

Had one or two taken my self in the past, nothing worse than F**kers on stage mitherin about F**k-all, I now tell em to piss-off.
It sounds a bit blunt, but cheaper than replacing records because someones has sticky fingers.

Got em all, top label.
Well ahead of its time in the day

One man on the scene that truly deserves it, long may he reign !!!!

What about - Evil - by Posse on Janus.
Fantastic record, got a demo of it myself - never gets played now. Such a shame, records like these need reactivating.
Great memories of a by-gone time.
Long may it carry on!!!!! KOKO

Thanks for your comment Dek, its just one idea among many, we would also like Torch / Wheel and Wigan nights, I will try my best to get DJs that did or have played at these iconic clubs, but please keep your eye on "Coppenhall Soul Nights" in the coming year for dates and events, hope to see you there -
Soulfully yours Nige.

Having just taken over the promotion of Coppenhall Club Soul Nights down here in Crewe, i'm hopeing to have an " Up The Junction reunion night" some time in the early new year, as well as theme nights from other " bygone" clubs up and down the country. These ground breaking clubs deserve to be remembered for their contribution to the present day soul scene.
Please keep your eyes on S/S for further details.

Can i just let you know, the wall opposite the old junction with UP THE JUNCTION painted across it , was the gable-end of a house, which has now been pulled down, i got my son to take a photo of it about a fortnight before demolition started.

People gettin on about "who'll take over when us old-uns have long gone ".
It doesn't help when certain so called "named" DJs, have in the past, had a go at one or two young DJs for playing pressings. These so called experienced &
seasoned DJs should know better. The youth of today should be encouraged not slated for playing the very records i've seen for sale in the old pro's "under a 10er"
boxes. It goes to prove that with the odd one or two pro's, its all about the £££££ not the music. I think that they see the youth as a threat.
Just think, with out the youngsters, who'll be swelling your pension fund when your in the nursing home.?

Hi there , have you a lisit of other UK Demos for sale?
Regards Nige
