  2. Maybe Mike but demos seem to go for twice the price of issues and most Hi copies for sale are in US so p+p bumps up the price. I reckon there are plenty of UK copies lurking about BH
  3. Ok, I've put up with my tatty and cracked Hi copy of this great tune for long enough and need an upgrade I reckon the best (and cheapest) is a UK London issue, so good folks who can oblige? I know there is a London DJ copy on a sales list and Craig M has Hi copies but would prefer a UK stock please. PM replies please. Thanks for looking. Blake

  12. Not quite as good but not far off........I got one for $1 at the Pasadena record fair some years ago. A guy had just pitched up thrown a blanket on the bonnet (hood) of his car and put some pretty beat up guitars out and a small box of 45s. The sign on the box said 'Weird Stuff' and most of it was obscure but not soul, one of the few to have a sleeve was the Flowers record, not mint but a solid vg+, dollar paid thank-you very much!! What a great concept...an outdoor record fair in the Californian sunshine, happy days. BH
  13. Look forward to this John, I'll listen while I get ready for the Crimbo eve drinky B+N

  15. Jnr Walker deffo played at one of the Leeds Queens Hall allnighters because it was the only time I saw the great man. I remember he wouldn't do an encore despite about 15 minutes of calling for one, it later transpired it was his third show of the night and he was exhausted, I also remember some booing when he wouldn't return. Blake
