  10. Jim, I think the way you run the allnighter, and your music policy will always be held in high regard by all that attended and DJ`d there so much so thats its still looked on as an integral part of the northern scene then and now......as Jock and Byrney have said a lot of the tunes that were played werent brand new but were shouting out to be played, thats not to say that some future monsters werent discovered, all the tunes were jumped on almost immediately by the punters who went.....the fact that everyone that went were all going and traveling to each others soul events north and south of the border made for a fellowship and dynamite atmosphere, so much so people were missed if they didnt get to one night. Chalky coined it rather well there was no bollocks just a load of like minded loons all enjoying them selfs......the bragging rites more came from a tune youd just picked up from the record bar for a £1, and that most tunes could be got from the said record bar almost instantainiously after hearing something played out that night......I think it was Mark Wilson who was in his pre DJ days said it was the era of the £10 record. Grand days indeed.....thank you Jim Ohara for putting the music, punter and the allnighter first and foremost.....I know you had a fabulous collection yourself and chose not to Dj, instead you put your all into running and promoting the night....this says volumes about you my friend.
