Two more USED & ABUSED originals MEL BRITT & FIDELS ***Priority given in strict order to everyone who PM's me (including the PM's I got last night!)*** After the first two (Dena Barnes/Billy Prophet) i listed last week sold in record time, i've dug out 2 more classic originals that have alas seen better days and are only in VG/VG- condition MEL BRITT - FIP DJ (with a bad crack and minor distortion) Visually the rest of the styrene looks OK. As you can hear, the crack causes a lite click throughout but not horrible and maybe it could be made to sound better with some TLC? Not that it makes a difference (as such) but this is Soul Sam's old copy! I thought Chic were great! The female singer on the right was just OK imho but Kimberley Davis was bloody fantastic! Really good set and the timing of when they went into Bowie's 'Let's Dance' was superb. One of the few times i wished I was in the crowd at that time!

Two very rare Northern Soul original US 45's that have unfortunately been used and abused! I wouldn't normally sell 45's in this condition BUT they are such rare 45's I thought someone might want them? Dena Barnes - If you ever walk out of my life - Inferno W/D (stamped ZTSC etc) The styrene is generally in good nick (probably VG++ without the scratches!) BUT it does have three small deep scratches, two that cause loud pops in the first 35 seconds and one that causes pops in the last 10 seconds - check the MP3 below. The postage hike in the USA has been good and bad for me as a buyer and a seller! I've hardly bought a 45 from the States this year as cheap 45's become virtually the same (in general) as buying in the UK, so I am buying more from the UK these days! BUT as a seller it has been good for me because collectors in the the UK are realising that UK dealers are selling cheap 45's at competitive prices that now match anything (in general) from the States One thing I have also noticed is that cos of the UK overseas price hike we got hit with in April, is that sales to overseas collectors has slowed down a bit? Found a box with about 90 Kent LP's in it, so have started adding them to my eBay shop. Most in superb nick. Loads of the harder numbers too! Kent put out 97 vinyl LP’s in an 8 year period of 1982-1990. Mainly Northern Soul with many unreleased tracks gaining releases for the first time ever! Will hopefully get them all added by the end of the week.
