  2. JOE VALENTINE - I LOST THE ONLY LOVE I EVER HAD - VAL (US ORIGINAL) Fabulous early 70's Crossover/Northern Soul dancer of the highest order! Surely due for a dance floor revival? Whilst doing a stock check I found a couple of unplayed ORIGINALS that I forgot I had! The good news is, I've decided to offer them at the more than reasonable price of £100 each Grab one while you can at https://www.soulmusic.co.uk

  12. I have to say that the version Jordi played on't radio last week sounded different to my copy? Anyone know if there are a couple of alternate versions of this knocking about on Clown?
  13. We ran a little club in Leyland in the mid 80's for about 4 or 5 years ('85-'89) and Randy Brown was probably one the the top three spins in all that time there! The other two where Eugene Record's 'Overdose of joy' and Clarence Carters 'Messing with my mind'...............wonder whatever happened to those songs, bet they'd sound great today :wicked:
  14. I agree Glynn - I too have the original US LP for sale (and have had for what seems like an eternity) and as you know every track is a killer! I've no problem with folks paying £50-£75 for the 45 though - that's the way it is as many collectors prefer to collect 45's Cheers Steve
  15. There's a scan of both sides of the Curtom 45 further up the thread? One side says 'featuring Terry Crispino'
