I used to have a copy with a black label with a picture of a fried egg on it, bought on general release early 70's...can't remember the name though!

Could be licensing issues concerning restrictions on music and dancing........... or simply that they emerged to meet the demands of a customer base populated mainly by self imposed insomniacs?

There was group of young Italian kids at a Cleethorpes weekender I went to (2006?), dressed more mod style, but obviously really into the music. Nice to see the youths putting their spin on it all.

There was some discussion of this record on the events look back on Prestatyn this year. I don't care for the record personally but it absolutely rocked the modern room on the Friday night at that weekender!!! A case of wrong tune in the right place at the right time maybe?
