  1. Wow that looks brilliant.
  2. He was a gifted very persuasive child who probably got his mam to buy it for him. ๐Ÿ˜‹
  3. Mick, he probably bought it as a new release in 1967 for $2.00 ๐Ÿคซ
  4. It's not too obvious is it mate.
  5. I've always said when a record goes into Baz's or Robbo's collection then that's it, they don't play the game like the rest of us. You'd think they'd let the odd one go, you know like pass it along to your mates for a trade, for instance James Dockery Baz. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
  6. For any young collector/Dj's out there, If you can go for the next 40years without having to sell or trade any of your records, then you to, can have a collection like Baz Maleedy's. ๐Ÿ˜œ And he's still at it.
  7. Her previously unreleased songs seem to be popular in movie soundtracks. In the 2016 film "War on everyone" starring Alexander Skarsgard & Michael Pena in one scene Chris Clark Somethings Wrong is playing.๐Ÿ‘
  8. Mick "Buy now pay later plan" does it best for me. Most of my own collection has been purchased in a similar way๐Ÿ˜œ
  9. She's had so many friends over this side of the pond for years that I'm surprised nobody thought of releasing it here. I'm thinking Kent or Hayley could have done something with it if given the chance.
  10. What a voice, just brilliant, as good as it gets really.
  11. If I'm not mistaken Baz was down to play this before Chris the last time they was both on the same bill, who will play it this time?, there's only one way to find out. FIGHT,FIGHT,FIGHT.๐Ÿคฃ
  12. I wonder if Simon will have The New (Bolton) Wanderers with him ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜œ
  13. Who's Big Dave or the Soul Brothers?
  14. ๐Ÿ˜ Rod "Always at the sink" I was gonna say you need a dishwasher mate but it sounds like you already are one.๐Ÿ˜€
  15. That's just tickled me, what a brilliant trailer. Danny answers the door with excess coke sprinkled all over his bare chest. Hi ~ YES VERY he answers๐Ÿคฃ Thanks Mike that trailers just made my day.
  16. A pleasant surprise on the sound track listing for the 2016 film War On Everyone starring Alexander Skarsgard & Michael Pena Soundtracks War on Everyone Something's Wrong Written by William Stevenson (aka Mickey Stevenson) Performed by Chris Clark Published by EMI Music Publishing Limited/Stone Agate Music Courtesy of Motown Record Company Under licence from Universal Music Operations Ltd It's quite a decent buddy action film.
  17. Phil, you have to be on the ball. Even at 1 minute past 9 some of the records are on reserve.
  18. The countdown to 9am every Monday morning for his latest titles to go live is akin to queueing up outside Harrods for their Christmas sales.๐Ÿ˜‚
  19. Wow 23, all those years of hanging around with Messrs Dyson & Coney hasn't affected you one bit mate, well on the outside it hasn't ๐Ÿ˜œ
  20. I was at Broughton Wings the night Sam first played it, he was super excited to see the dancefloor reaction to it. it fell flat, however he persevered with it and made it the Soul Sam anthem that it is now. I was at Culcheth as well when he played it to another appreciative crowd. I can't be certain but he may well have played it at Skegness but someone else played his first.๐Ÿค”
  21. That's 1 record Julien that needs playing at most once a night, less would be better๐Ÿ˜œ

I totally agree with the reviews already posted on here. Musically top notch to a great appreciative crowd. Rarities mixed in with lesser known stuff Highlight of the night for me was when Carl blasted out Harold Melvin's "Bad Luck" mixed in between the quality rare stuff, next the doors burst open and this guy, probably on his way to the toilet from the modern room, ran onto the already busy dancefloor with that I love this record look on his face, and there's me thinking and so do I. So that's the 3rd one I've attended and each ones been better than the last. Next month it's the Grumpy takeover, as the saying goes beat that if you can.๐Ÿ‘
  22. Absolutely mate. I'll see you later on.
