  3. I love to watch Preston cybermen Dave Molloy and Gaz Kellett, both are definitely within the tune.
  4. Can another event(s) hold a World Northern Soul Dance Championship: so we will have many World champions? In the old days I'm pretty sure Boxing had just the one champion at a time, in all of the different weights. Nowadays there's the WBC, WBA, IBF and the WBO, If another promoter felt the need then why not. Up against the Blackpool Tower Ballroom that's possibly hosted hundreds of dance competitions over the years.
  5. Why is the World Series called the World Series when only US teams are involved.? That's always puzzled me. The makers of Britain's got talent go the opposite way, when they could call their show The Worlds got talent because quite a few of their acts are international but they opt for BGT.
  6. Baz, with more than 3,350 views, this has to be a record hasn't it.
  7. This story reminded me of the first time I heard The Mystiques was at Grumpys. I can't remember who played it but maybe on Saturday?
  8. Craig Hutchinson just told me a story when Lenny & Jim Tennant was double decking and Jim set him on fire. and then announced Lenny's on fire tonight. He assures me it's a true story so Baz you better have a fire extinguisher near the stage just in case. lol

  10. Dave, great flipside as well.
  11. THE POLICE said he had a clean record 😁😂🤣
  12. Raspberry pop tarts, I wonder if you can deep fry them like that other Scottish delicacy, deep fried Mars bar. I can feel my arteries hardening just thinking about them. 🤣
  13. Joan if you're not cheerful then I'm a lost cause. My laughing valve seized up long ago. Even the big lad's given me the elbow. 😂
  14. The cheap & cheerful, Phil she's at it again.
  15. Hi All, Just the one rare'un today and what a belter it is Roosevelt Matthews with Billy Ball & the Upsetters ~ "You got me diggin' you" bw "Tighten up" ~ King Promo £500.00 ****SOLD**** The vinyl has a dull look with hardly any shine, Tighten up is a bit better however both sides play great with no problems at all. I've reflected this in the lower asking price. The labels look okay, 2 X's on Tighten Up side, slight ringwear on Diggin' side (see pics) Postage, Special next day delivery £8.00 (Insured for up to £500) Thanks for looking. Bob
  16. Phil that's a great list of records there but for me you've left off the best one. Hank Hodge, why! have you sold it on, if not then do you want to.😀
  17. I have a VG++ copy on Twinight ,clean labels if your interested PM me.
  18. Troggs Allnighter Farnworth Nr Bolton the night The Torch closed down. 100's of soulies made their way up the M6 from Stoke. Troggs was just a small basement club that held around 125 tops with loads queuing outside trying to get in. Alan Day came up and did a set for us. Kev Roberts had his sales box stolen. The night was immortalised in Kev's book as one of the top 5 worst allnighters of all time, however something good came from the club before that disastrous night, although we didn't realise it at the time a young Richard Searling made his DJ'ing debut there spinning top records he'd just brought back from the US.
  19. Sorry Dobber I was just coming clean on my earlier comment
  20. Have you checked out saracenssoul
  21. I know one seller always lists his records way to high as if to say these are my personal collection if you're interested in any of them then you'll have to pay over the odds , the other sellers don't mind because it makes their sales look like a bargain.
  22. I'm pretty sure not all of them are from Tim's collection, if any.
  23. I used to pack my Brown dj pants just in case😄
