  1. A bit 'horses bolted' I know , but any time I've sold anything online , rarely I must add , I've made sure to take good quality photos of said item with a dated item , newspaper usually , just in case of this very scenario occurring.
  2. Get recording it , can't beat a bit of entertainment like that ... Glad it's not just me ...
  3. Photographing the Sun and swilling a cold Guinness or two ... no surprises there ... Hope everyone else is catching some rays too , if not here's how it looks today ... ☀️
  4. £205 ... I should co-co , JM's got an Ex+ one for £85 ...
  5. I think they're either incapable of doing an internet search or just too lazy. I see it everywhere , on numerous forums , covering a multitude of interests , where folk , rather than spend two minutes looking for themselves , would rather type a question on the forum and sit around for hours waiting for someone else to answer.
  6. Can't wait to see what the Poets on J2 reaches soon , he posted a video of it yesterday so I'm assuming it'll be added to the auction list soon.

  9. It's there as plain as day at the top of the "Latest Additions" page ...
  10. Good to know that as you're a music lover that your hearing's still OK , even if your eyesight's getting a bit dodgy ...
  11. Greys are the only wildlife "dwindling" in my garden , on average over the last three years I've despatched between a hundred and twenty and a hundred and fifty per annum , none get wasted as I leave them in the secluded 'picnic area' for the Red Kites , Buzzards and Foxes to munch on. The joys of having Walnut and Hazel trees in the garden.
  12. Lots of folk mistake queen wasps for hornets as they're considerably larger than the average wasp you see , when you see a real hornet it's unmistakeable , and the sound is the big giveaway , completely different to a wasp or any bumble-bee , very low pitched and menacing.
  13. No Karl , the invasive Asian Hornet is actually a tad smaller than the native Vespa crabro ... And it's in no way becoming more prevalent , official figures here ... https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/asian-hornet-uk-sightings/asian-hornet-sightings-recorded-since-2016
  14. Always had hornets here since as long as I can remember going back to my first encounter aged about four. Wonderful creatures in my opinion , I've got three nests in two different wooded areas in the garden , but they're no bother and their lofty flight lines keep them well away , although I do get the odd one or two join me in the summerhouse while I'm imaging as they like the wood for nest making , they're very impressive from three feet away ...
  15. Sorry about that , just for you here's one I shot nine years ago as a test shot for the lunar eclipse that was occurring a couple of hours later , I don't think I've bettered this one despite numerous attempts , the 'seeing' was great that night ... When I get the right opportunity I intend doing a hi-resolution mosaic using the a different 'scope and monochrome camera but I've kinda got out of practice beggaring about in the dark ... You can do the clicky thing and get the bigger image .
  16. Nothing overly special to me , just appears a tiny bit bigger that the eye can't distinguish from the last one , it's just the third full moon in a season with four full moons , more over-hyping by the media. It may still appear a bit 'redder' than usual when it first appears over the horizon and that's down to the jetstream dragging smoke and soot over from the wildfires in Canada. And I'm probably going to be clouded out but I might have a chance of it rising , if I'm not asleep by then ...
  17. A lot of the acetates are uncredited , so names have been attributed to them , rather than being cover-ups per se.
  18. Forget worrying about fashion statements , most important is finding shoes that are above all comfortable right from the get-go , no point in posing in shoes that look good but after ten minutes on the floor cripple you ...
  19. More like subtly different mixes than versions to be honest Mal , C-143 and C-152. One's a tad 'brighter' (152).
  20. Jean Wells is an alternative take to the two released versions.
  21. I have but two hands Peter , and when I'm in the vicinity of food they are fully employed grasping a knife and fork not faffing about with cameras ...
  22. Quick snap of the rising Moon while waiting for my supper , EOS 90D + Sigma 150-600 C. ...
