Received mine this week and delighted with it.

I bought this record for a fiver from a well known dealer four years ago and complained that it had the same old thing when you played it. Not that bothered now that he never got back to me about it……..👍😉

Joolz is done, too many who can’t sing like they used too . Not enough new and different now. Used to get at least one if not two new albums from the fresh new artists he used to have on. can still remember seeing portishead for the first time on joolz. Can’t remember last new/ fresh band he had on that had me finding and getting their music in the basis if their performance on joolz…..

Generous offer can’t be criticised, notice you mentioned people trying to chip prices. One of my friends started selling his records to clear some space and has constantly got folk whining about postage and trying to chip him on prices by just moaning and whining about prices. The only time I’ve tried to get a lower price is when “make me an offer” appears. So well done you, although if you have any thing really rare that I like, il take it…..🤣😂🤣👏👏👍😎

Went to linn for an interview, after the fifth person told me if they have nothing to do they just pop into work and do a few hours graft as they loved the place so much…… If you worked at ibrox aye ,wasn’t too gutted when they said no….

Mixed up records in Glasgow still has some 45s and albums from rad. Most of the ones mentioned previously on this post. I’m sure they will be helpful. Helpful guy at the counter says most don’t take the rarer 45s. Could be worth the price of a phone call….. it’s in otago lane in the west end. Geo

Just had a chance to listen to record and one side has bubbling on the label….

There was only one uk one on discogs two weeks ago. Not much help but plenty in the us if you fancy the vat/tax lottery….

With postage , vat and potentially tax added to foreign record prices driving up prices , dealers here are just pricing records just below potential cost from abroad. Remember record is only worth what is paid for it not what is asked for it. If it’s too dear find something else as there are many to pick from. High prices also tends to mean record has a good chance of being well known …. If you don’t want to pay too much don’t moan just look harder….

Rocky Roberts and tha Airedales Stasera Mi Butto was the theme for an Italian cop show. listening to it I think he learned the lyrics phonetically. ex GI who ended up performing in Italy and France I believe.

Watched it again last night,still a really good watch 2 nd time round.

I never bother will well known and out of my price range records .Prefer trawling through ones I haven’t heard before and can afford, although I did stretch my max spend for my birthday as the record I was after had stayed at the same price for three years and it was a birthday ending in a zero (now worthwhile celebrating). I also buy new releases if I like them and find them before they sell out. They all get regularly played and I’ve yet to sell a record although the pile we don’t mention under the table gets slightly larger each year....

It’s good to see there is one dealer selling “special “ records. It’s always a joy to find the dealer with the best record and it’s easy to find as its generally 250% over the average price of the others.... Or have I got it back to front and it’s the dealer that’s special and is qualified to use a title that sounds like billy HUNT but means total - unt.....
