I bought a pair of barkers from afleks Palace 10yrs ago for a tenner and the most comfortable pair of dancing shoes I've ever owned still going strong -
Me and the wife came to this venue, and were so glad we came .what a night lovely friendly people excellent tunes and brilliant djs oh and the floor was the best in 10yrs of going to events .a big thumbs up to everybody including Barbara, we will be back a really top night you made our night .

If you can get a pair of leather soled barkers ,I've had a pair for 10yrs and they are comfy and look good ,and I got them second hand from affleks Palace in manny .but just Google them ,good luck

We went to this place for the first time and found it very friendly. A good lot of djs were playing a mix of tunes.drinks were very reasonable.

We sat with Arthur Miles at a pub in morecambe a couple of yrs back before he went on and so soulful tunes he belted out ,and he owes me for a pint too ,but eh it all adds to the memory of that night .
