it just didn't make any sense to me, hence me eventually cashing in what I had (at the 'going rate' like a massive hypocrite) and spending that money on literally hundreds upon hundred off LPs and CDs. Hi Chalky, whilst I agree with you about expensive crap ( I personally ONLY buy what I like), many DJs only get a few spots each year and feel they have to play a 'safe' set in the hope of getting more recognition and spots. If you are DJing week in and week out, you can play something different or new to the punters as you know it's not going to affect your future bookings! Cheers Julian

Hi I have a Golden Eye DJ Copy Matrix reads GB-1001-A then it has 165 ( not sure of this as B side has 145 scratched in) MHC ( again looks like this but my eyes aren't as good as they used to be!!!) Hope this helps Julian

Played at the Mecca and someone on a different thread on here stated it was played at the Torch ( Keith Minshull confirmed this to me about 2 years ago). Remember it at the Mecca but not the Torch. Julian

The blue label was the one that Simon Soussan 'discovered' on his first trip to the States - I know because I was with him in Leeds (( in Chris Tipping's flat - he funded him to go) when he opened his suitcase filled with the stuff he found! Happy days Julian
