The Wheel And Late 60S Proto Northern Soul Scenes
There were other clubs in Liverpool playing early 60s Soul music, some putting on Live Soul acts, as well as The Mardi Gras, Cavern Club, The Victoriana, Hotsy Tosy's, etc, like The Iron Door, The Sink, The All Fours (best draught Double Diamond in Liverpool at the time), Reeces, Ugly's, The Pyramid, Pink Parrot, Cabin Club (still going to this day and still owned by the same family as when it opened back in the very late 50s / very early 60s) The Babaloo, plus a few others I can't think of right now. Then in the very early 70s there was Livingstones, which had from day one, an 'open decks' policy to encourage 'collectors' to come out and 'air' their records to a very enthusiastic audience. Met my best mate and eventual Best Man there, Frank Jackson R.I.P.

How Long Does A Record Actually Last?
If handled properly, using a decent stylus, balanced correctly and all that, probably the whole of your lifetime.

Ebay Result! And For The Seller This Time
But let's say you've got a photo of the one you sent, you could then show ebay / paypal the difference with a photo taken of the one that was returned, thus proving your point. Surely ebay / paypal would then come down in your favour?

Ebay Result! And For The Seller This Time
But don't you only give them a refund after they've sent the record back? And if the wrong record arrives back, then you report it to ebay and withold the refund? I don't know, I'm just asking the question.

The Best Packaged Record I've Ever Received
I had a package delivered once with a tyre mark diagonally across one side. Before I opened it I just knew the record inside was broken. I took the package to the Post Office to ask how I should claim compensation. After some debate with the teller, I asked to see the Duty Manager. I showed him the package with the tyre mark across it and the broken contents, to which he said, "What makes you think it's our fault?" You couldn't make it up. I've kept the package for posterity. I'm thinking of getting it framed.

Sam & Dave = You Aint No Big Thing Baby = Canadian Roulette
I'm only aware of two takes. The Uk King release with little or no femme backing. And the US / Canadian take, complete with full femme backing. Is somebody saying there's a third take?

Import Duty
It's not on is it? They reckon / know you ain't gonna bother for £3.69 and if you do, they'll argue the toss that the £8 admin fee stands, even though the whole thing was a cock-up of their own making. Personally, just to be awkward, I'd argue the toss. And if I got no joy, I'd drag the Ombudsman in for good measure. Thing is though, after all that, especially if I won my case, I'd be a marked man down the Sorting Office and literally everything posted to me from abroad would get the evil eye and I'd get slapped with every charge you can imagine. Shouldn't be like that though, should it?

Sounds / looks like you've got grounds to appeal the £11.69 charge.
