  8. I have spent a lifetime seeing obvious things that others didn’t see and others have spent a lifetime seeing obvious things I never saw. 😀
  9. It would be nice for someone who owns them to let us have the matrix images for each label and that will prove it I see a Swedish Discographer has added the other label on Discogs
  10. It appears Dave's book has now been shipped in numbers to the states (there seems to be a lot of boxes) perhaps Val can sell some for you 😀
  11. Probs another find in Bradford Market 😀
  12. I don't know that at all, as I assumed different records "could" be pressed in different batches and numbers and maybe at different plants and possibly at different times. Another run with different labels (I don't see why it would have been altered) possibly would make one of them (I agree we don't know which one yet was the chicken or the egg) a repress if within 18 months and any later a re-issue. What intrigues me is that the record is very rare and yet 2 different label designs were used and I thought I would ask, as it seems to me that it may be a little more common than I thought, or perhaps just a small batch of each.
  13. Does it imply that one is a repress though, with the label being different ? 😀
  14. Would be nice to know if it was a different pressing plant (surely not a re-issue ?) and very very well spotted Wonder what the matrix details are on both versions to compare ?
  15. Funnily enough they do sell snides at the boot sales 😇
  16. It was rainy here on the coast yesterday and we still ventured out to one of our local Car Boot sales as per usual We had run out of blades for our shaver and my wife shouted me over to a stall where a lady had one for packet for sale £6 I noticed 3 records on her table and the bottom one was on Deram She announced that she had another packet of blades and I asked her if she would do both for £10 "Not a chance" she said but of you want the record I will let you have it included in the price Not bad eh........result, oh and plays perfect
  17. I remember speaking to Keith Rylett and how the Jerry O book was an absolute nightmare to prepare I came across the papered over recording his label (Assuming) Then there is the label underneath (before the were stuck on) Tom (duo) is supposed to be Tommy Dark (Robert Tharpe) and I am hoping no reason to doubt https://alt.obituaries.narkive.com/14S7pEoi/robert-tharpe-72-half-of-tom-jerrio-duo-who-recorded-the-novelty-hit-boo-ga-loo Please can we shed more light on the writer and producer Tom Moers (Thomas Moers) Is there any reason that history is incorrect/correct and the Tom could really the writer and producer and not was has been written or is it just my imagination and coincidence
  18. No I agree with Chalky it was "issued" with a pink label because of the demand of the record which had never been released, just available as a promo, a reissue would have to have been even later.
  19. I believe Henry Ford stated he knew nothing about engines but knew plenty of people who did I have a habit of extracting info Rick in the most roundabout of fashions and like you am learning so much all these years later You never know but we might find out about the Mutt from Mutt and Jeff soon 😀
  20. Thanks mate and as I suspected you have supplied info that raises an interesting point 62161 matrix is June 1966 and 68962 is November 1967 How intriguing, "calling in the Anoraks"
  21. Although I hate to say it I bet Manship's personal collection is a bit good and Dave Raistrick's got some stuff tucked away. Dean Anderson had some bits and bobs too back in the day
  22. Rick can you add scans of yours and matrix info to this link bud, pretty please
