  1. I may have jumped in with the LeBIll Publishing (Sweet Temptation) and the Cressa Watson version discussed in pervious thread
  2. I noticed that someone had booted the Ward Burton with scanned identical labels I noticed that someone had booted the Ward Burton with identical but scanned labels
  3. I noticed there was also a white garage rock band called "The Bojax" from NC and although not soul related one of their Panther singles had same Cat number as the Ward Burton and there was some connection with Major Bill (here we go again) too and of course that could lead anywhere and I really would like to stick the thread, but guess, as in life all roads take you in certain directions https://home.unet.nl/kesteloo/bojax.html https://teensoundrecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-bojax-dont-look-back-its
  4. So this is the same exact label a the Ward Burton ?
  5. I found this comment, not mine (very interesting) would like to find out please ? "There is a yellow label / black text vinyl pressing, with F/W (Frankford-Wayne) etched in the deadwax. It was attempted to be passed off to me as an original; I think it is a 1970s "created by the bootleg mafia" pressing to be sold off as an original pressing. In the 1st edition Tim Brown co-authored price guide, there is a label scan of this pressing under the banner "alternate label pressings" or something like that."
  6. Does this link help, I know there is one scan absent and maybe more release but you guys know more than me https://www.45cat.com/artist/bobby-treetop As far as I finding out who Bobby is/was I have emailed Jimmy Raye who has this site and maybe someone on here knows him as my email may end up in his scam box My thoughts were was he possibly Bobby Copney under an alias (but I am often wrong) https://www.tuffrecords.com/index.html https://www.jimmieraye.com/Discographypageone.html On this site there is a photo of Jimmy with Kev Roberts who clearly knows him from the USA Soul Trip
  7. Not a Lancashire native, but stuck down my new roots in the Tower town a few years back I think you will like this though (after some googling) and the blues and soul attachment https://www.facebook.com/PrestonsGotSoul/posts/who-remembers-spin-a-disc-run-by-paul-james-on-preston-bus-stationthe-place-for-/477718745640123/ bs231fe.pdf

  13. I have dome some research and really wonder if this is them https://www.teddwebb.com/garage_bands/ronny_lowe-dominoes.html
  14. Seen one recently VG for £250 all the releases on Panther must be obscure and little is know about them, I am guessing that Will Hammond owned the label as he produced all the releases, I think he must be the same man who did Garbage Man (Muddy Waters) and was from South Carolina, but as with most things I am not 100% sure
  15. Including some stuff we like, I was drawn to the comment at the bottom about the Bee Vee and The Honey Bee being the "Only Know Pressing" ....duh https://blog.discogs.com/en/the-most-collected-desired-and-expensive-disco-music/?utm_source=mktg&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=DC_Charts_1912
