I've mended cracked vinyl with a soldering iron and it works well. It is a little harder with styrene and they tend to break again, I have found that welding a small piece of a staple onto the edge of cracked styrene works best it adds exta srength and you can still play both sides. Regards Paul

My record was sent Airmail no Insurance. I have spoken to HM Customs and they have promised a refund providing I can prove the purchase price, they do accept the receipt from PayPal so at least there are advantages to using paypal. Regards Paul

I have just had a charge of £17.83 on a record that I paid $6.26 because the fool I bought from stuck a value of $155.00 on the US customs form. He probably sent out more than one package and must have got the forms mixed up. Regards Paul

I am sorry to tell you that it was booted and you have described the boot. The original is the same colour as the rest of the issues. I was sold a boot by a well known dealer in the eighties, he did not know that it had been booted, got my money back £6.00 if I remember correctly and soon found an original for the same money.
